Remembering Buddy

Featured Replies

We are saddened to inform you (in case you haven't already heard) that one of our own has unfortunately passed very recently. Earlier today, we learned that family members of @Buddy confirmed that he has unfortunately passed sometime over the past few days. Buddy was a part of our little community here on ATRL for going on an entire decade. At 27 years of age, this loss is indescribably tragic and impossible to put into words. Many of us on ATRL have had the pleasure to get to know him during his time with us. He was a charismatic and fun individual with a deep passion for pop music, political conversation, and this community as a whole.

On behalf of the ATRL community, the staff wish condolences to his friends, family, and loved ones and that he can rest in peace.

We know many of you (including several of the staff) got to know him pretty well, even if in passing. Please use this thread to remember, commemorate, and mourn him. We just ask that this thread stay respectful and sensitive. Further, we strongly discourage discussion surrounding the circumstances of his death. Nothing on that end is confirmed and those circumstances do not need to be speculated as they are unimportant in grieving this tragic loss.

Shocked and hurt. Buddy was always a real and genuine person. I've spoken to him in the ADHD base. I know how destructive our illness can be and I am sorry that you had to suffer so much during your lifetime -- you didn't deserve it.

This is quite shocking, I don't think we talked or not that I remember but I saw his posts here and there and he seemed to be a nice guy, no problematic. May he rest in peace and hope his family find the peace they will need in these hard days.
