I grew up in Barbados and remember when Rihanna first came out, it was definitely a huge moment for the island as previously the only artist that really had some success was Rupee. But I don't remember anyone caring about the BMAs Her rise was looked at favourably by most people but I also distinctly remember a lot of people saying she worshipped the devil as she started to get bigger It wasn't all praise unfortunately.

The excuses Sabrina's albums before Emails are irrelevant and Dua not being gen z is not the reason her first week sales and streams are terrible. She's should've sold 200k minimum following an era like Future Nostalgia, the fact that she couldn't even do 100k proves she has no fanbase and her touring stats don't change the fact that she's very much a GP act who will struggle without hits, and she's not as global as you guys are acting.

A Witness era for Taylor would be like a Mayhem sized era at this point, so she'd still be successful. Katy never had a fan base while Taylor has one of the biggest of all time. I don't think Taylor will truly flop until her 50s, similar to Madonna. All she needs to do to get people back on board is release great music again, which she's more than capable of doing despite whatever the **** TLOAS was.

People can like other things than you, shocking I know. - Both would be worthy winners but it will likely be Olivia Dean. Olivia Rodrigo does not have the broad appeal to win and lacks a big hit.

I think there's more support/acceptance of trans people these days due to the awareness but also on the flip side, a lot more hate. It used to be that many people didn't know/care about trans people and now those people have "picked a side" which has created a lot of division. I do have hope the 2030s will be a lot better for trans people and the LGBT and other communities though. The pendulum always swings back.

I'm aware but Texas Hold Em is country pop by a pop star. Choosin Texas is pure country by an actual country artist (with a twangy voice to add unlike Shania) so its success is more impressive/surprising here, and why I said it's the MOST country song to smash here since the 90s and a rare occurrence.
