  1. He shared a talent agency with Chappell Roan and other artists that was headed by Casey Wasserman. A bunch of those artists left when the news dropped with the Epstein Files, but Ed stuck with him
  2. Reuters: UN finds that US could be committing war crimes neolibs: but but butโ€ฆ Iran is still worse!
  3. Maybe Hasan should have followed his own musings about hunkering down andโ€ฆ refrained from speaking publicly at all until after the midterms. Edit: To be clear, i don't even dispute the message, but this isn't really the time or the place. Right-wing jingoism and American exceptionalism from a reactionary public are only going to result in candidates he's endorsed getting harmed by his rhetoric.
  4. At this point, the world decoupling from the United States and finding their own path forward can only be a good thing. As long as half the country remains as self-destructive and ignorant as they are...
  5. Democrats in Georgia overwhelmingly voted for the worst possible choice for governor. And this is exactly why Kamala Harris is still in the running for 2028.
  6. The future worst Speaker of all time is inevitable because of cowardice from AOC and the rest of the Squad
  7. I wouldn't doubt it, but what an ugly, sleazy way to push her out of the race. I don't even know who Harris voters would even support if this worked. Newsom is an absolute scumbag, Shapiro is trash, and Buttigieg remains a rat. And all three have trashed Kamala within the last year, with Newsom invoking sexist tropes about Willie Brown and Shapiro trying to smear her as an antisemite.
  8. Kinda tragic numbers here for P!nk, given her more impressive catalog size.
  9. Why would she? She has the easiest path to the nomination out of anyone, with a primary schedule that favors her loyal base of black voters in the South. Nobody else has that, and nobody else even breaks into the 20s besides Newsom who sucks even more.
  10. Hoping that Dracula can hold strong for the next month and a half. Would be crazy to see it get a second consecutive Halloween boost this year too.
  11. He shouldn't be, but the House Democrats are in lockstep behind him. The CBC will absolutely ruin anyone that publicly opposes him. It's already a done deal. Hakeem will be the next Dem Speaker, he will be historically bad at his job, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Schumer sucks even more, and realistically he probably keeps his job for another two years as well.
  12. And of course, Democratic Party leadership has come to an "understanding" with them which means nothing will happen
  13. Polling has also been whiffing incredibly hard lately. Primaries that looked like they were going to be skewed one way or the other have ended up either a lot closer than implied (El-Sayed v. Stevens), undecideds breaking hard in one direction - usually against the left (Hong v. Crowley), or the blowout is even larger than predicted (Moskowitz v. Larkin, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz winning by a lot in a black district). So people aren't really trusting that the polling is accurate, plus everyone is also expecting Trump to try and cheat.
  14. They've been doing the same with Hakeem Jeffries and Kamala Harris. The ability to use racism as a shield against criticism from the left is exactly why they were chosen by Pelosi and Biden to be their successors. Absolutely not due to them being "effective" in any way. It's cynical, but it works. The entirety of the Democratic Party came together to condemn Rula Jebreal immediately. As a show of force. To silence anyone else who would dare say anything remotely negative about Hakeem.
  15. My take is that people exhausted the edgy jokes and **** over Charlie Kirk's death the day before, and that left little room for that to continue for a second day in a row. I don't think people were just all of a sudden more reverent over the tragedy. There's justโ€ฆ only so much edginess people can actually take back to back I guess is what I'm trying to say
  16. To be clear, the person he said this to was a survivor of 9/11. He wasn't born yet, but he was a fetus in his mother's womb at the time, and she would have died More Americans are going to be more sympathetic to his plight than that of someone who's famous for saying we deserved to have that happen to him. And the point about being gay in Israel instead of Gaza, unfortunately, is also extremely uncontroversial to most people compared to practically anything that Hasan has ever said. The fact that these aggressive comments directed at a 9/11 survivor are extremely recent is also going to put even more pressure on Abdul El-Sayed to disavow him if the media ever actually gets ahold of this exchange.
  17. Objectively not a great look for Hasan here. Didn't even apologize either. Just deleted the original reply and doubled down.
  18. Do you disavow Hamas Piker Sunny Hostin?
  19. 2028 is blatantly about to be even more of an anointment process than 2016 was. Iโ€ฆ didn't think that was possible. If anything, this opens up more of a lane for Josh Shapiro to be the anti-Kamala choice the way that Bernie was the anti-Hillary. But running to her right as an even more pro-Israel candidate than Biden. Which also makes him much more likely to succeed.
