I grew up in Barbados and remember when Rihanna first came out, it was definitely a huge moment for the island as previously the only artist that really had some success was Rupee. But I don't remember anyone caring about the BMAs Her rise was looked at favourably by most people but I also distinctly remember a lot of people saying she worshipped the devil as she started to get bigger It wasn't all praise unfortunately.

She's so global yet she couldn't even do 100M streams globally first week

The excuses Sabrina's albums before Emails are irrelevant and Dua not being gen z is not the reason her first week sales and streams are terrible. She's should've sold 200k minimum following an era like Future Nostalgia, the fact that she couldn't even do 100k proves she has no fanbase and her touring stats don't change the fact that she's very much a GP act who will struggle without hits, and she's not as global as you guys are acting.

Weekly Spotify debuts: Man's Best Friend - 176M outside the U.S Radical Optimism - 93M including the U.S I like Dua but I don't know why people act like she's this untouchable global force, she has bigger hits but that's it. She's a single artist with no fanbase, the fact that Radical Optimism flopped so hard globally following Future Nostalgia is a massive warning sign.

Not a new peak for Islands in the stream yet but 9 to 5 yeah. Crazy how it didn't even go Top 40 here but is still a huge classic. More proof that the charts don't mean ****. Speaking of…I like Rein Me In and both Sam and Olivia but 23 weeks at #1 for this is RIDICULOUS. Glad it's over.

A Witness era for Taylor would be like a Mayhem sized era at this point, so she'd still be successful. Katy never had a fan base while Taylor has one of the biggest of all time. I don't think Taylor will truly flop until her 50s, similar to Madonna. All she needs to do to get people back on board is release great music again, which she's more than capable of doing despite whatever the **** TLOAS was.
