UK Singles: Choosin' Texas #1, Dolly #5/6/9, Dua Lipa #18: Albums: Alex Warren #1
MTE You used to need a pop remix (like Love Story and Shania's songs) to crack the top 10 as a country artist. Something changed in 2024 with Texas Hold 'Em, Bar Song, Austin, I Had Some Help and Taylor's (country) catalog smashing. This is the first song by a country artist to go #1 since Stand By Your Man in the 70s I believe, very impressive.

Jameela Jamil says botox is prison
Yeah I was surprised when the CFO of my company admitted to having botex, she looks amazing and I had no idea. You can't tell in many cases.

Bad Bunny to win an Oscar before ATRLs favs. Why?
This is giving @nostalgia saying an actress will win an Oscar and then they lose or aren't even nominated.

UK Mid (Wed): Choosin' Texas #1, 9 to 5 #3, Audrey Hobert #18: Albums: Alex Warren #1
Very few country songs have hit #1 in the UK so it's not surprising, she still had a good amount of hits globally considering her genre and her classics transcended their chart peaks.

UK Mid (Wed): Choosin' Texas #1, 9 to 5 #3, Audrey Hobert #18: Albums: Alex Warren #1
Pretty amazing if it's 9 to 5 since it didn't even go Top 40 in its original chart run.

Cheryl to join The Voice UK 2027 as coach, Alesha Dixon as co-host
MTE 50 seasons and yet no big star Also I love Cheryl but her judging on a show called The Voice is kinda a mess, at least with X Factor you could defend her and say she had star quality but this…

Why was Lorde's "Royals" considered such a turning point for pop music?
- Nashville International Airport to be renamed after Dolly Parton
Deserved for the Queen- Don't Stop The Music vs no tears left to cry
- TB: Rihanna winning 8 Awards in the BMAs for her debut album
I grew up in Barbados and remember when Rihanna first came out, it was definitely a huge moment for the island as previously the only artist that really had some success was Rupee. But I don't remember anyone caring about the BMAs Her rise was looked at favourably by most people but I also distinctly remember a lot of people saying she worshipped the devil as she started to get bigger It wasn't all praise unfortunately.- Dua Lipa surpasses Sabrina Carpenter in daily Spotify streams, surprised?!
- Dua Lipa surpasses Sabrina Carpenter in daily Spotify streams, surprised?!
The excuses Sabrina's albums before Emails are irrelevant and Dua not being gen z is not the reason her first week sales and streams are terrible. She's should've sold 200k minimum following an era like Future Nostalgia, the fact that she couldn't even do 100k proves she has no fanbase and her touring stats don't change the fact that she's very much a GP act who will struggle without hits, and she's not as global as you guys are acting.- Dua Lipa surpasses Sabrina Carpenter in daily Spotify streams, surprised?!
Weekly Spotify debuts: Man's Best Friend - 176M outside the U.S Radical Optimism - 93M including the U.S I like Dua but I don't know why people act like she's this untouchable global force, she has bigger hits but that's it. She's a single artist with no fanbase, the fact that Radical Optimism flopped so hard globally following Future Nostalgia is a massive warning sign.- UK Singles: Rein Me In #1x23, Dolly #9/12/13, Fontaines #19; Albums: Paul Heaton #1
Not a new peak for Islands in the stream yet but 9 to 5 yeah. Crazy how it didn't even go Top 40 here but is still a huge classic. More proof that the charts don't mean ****. Speaking of…I like Rein Me In and both Sam and Olivia but 23 weeks at #1 for this is RIDICULOUS. Glad it's over. - Nashville International Airport to be renamed after Dolly Parton
