I grew up in Barbados and remember when Rihanna first came out, it was definitely a huge moment for the island as previously the only artist that really had some success was Rupee. But I don't remember anyone caring about the BMAs Her rise was looked at favourably by most people but I also distinctly remember a lot of people saying she worshipped the devil as she started to get bigger It wasn't all praise unfortunately.

The excuses Sabrina's albums before Emails are irrelevant and Dua not being gen z is not the reason her first week sales and streams are terrible. She's should've sold 200k minimum following an era like Future Nostalgia, the fact that she couldn't even do 100k proves she has no fanbase and her touring stats don't change the fact that she's very much a GP act who will struggle without hits, and she's not as global as you guys are acting.

Weekly Spotify debuts: Man's Best Friend - 176M outside the U.S Radical Optimism - 93M including the U.S I like Dua but I don't know why people act like she's this untouchable global force, she has bigger hits but that's it.
