tbh i didn’t really have much investment into whether hold my saucepan would be nominated or not but i’m glad that it was

All of the nominees have to perform that night. If Gaga has any hopes of an acting oscar in the future there's just NO WAY that she's not attending, since it would be a slap in the face.

 

Kinda feel bad for the other performers cause they can't outsing Gaga so it's likely that she'll win IMO (she sings much better now that when she was nominated for Till It Happens To You)

the way people are acting like she is going to do a superbowl extravaganza at the oscars....shes literally performing a piano ballad. It's not like rehearsals for this performance would be time consuming and conflict with JFAD filming. 

Don’t be silly. Of course she’s attending and performing. She wouldn’t miss the chance to. 
 

I do not see her winning but I do think she’s a front runner and is in a good spot. Top Gun being a Best Picture nominee and a favorite in the craft categories bodes well for her chances. The Academy will want to award the biggest movie of 2022 in some way, and a song with Lady Gaga attached just makes sense. 
 

It’s nice that she was able to get this nomination so effortlessly. No promo at all. :jonny: 

she can debut the Harley lewk at the oscar performing HMH (DarkBop version). I think the Academy will be very happy with the rating

What are you talking about? Gaga is busy filming and her grandma recently passed away. How would her not performing a song be a slap in the face?

hollywood is an industry that is used to their members being away for months on end as part of their jobs, there have been plenty of people who have been nominated for way more major awards that didn't turn up and still won.
