  1. But I was told they wouldn't hit 100K? "HYBE/Geffen's KATSEYE is tracking to an opening of 120-140K on the next HITS Top 50. The six track set will land at #1, with pure sales driving the total" https://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/charts/katseye-wild-sales-projections-2026 "KATSEYE will always win in the end. Why?"
  2. Truly this generation's defining girl group, whether you like it or not The endless hate trains, think pieces and hate farms. The constant "they're over. they're done." Yet... Somehow... They always win? The amount of things their brand has survived in under two years
  3. The homage to Slave 4 U, the choreo, the endless STARPOWER Oh KATSEYE, the girl group that you are
  4. Oh the nation's new smash incoming
  5. This impending collapse
  6. I've also been wondering what Lara is working on at Max Martin's studios. As amazing as it would be for it be her debut ep - I could see her taking it upon herself to make the demos for the album herself on her own time (a lot of this is happening when the girls are on vacation in other countries or have time off) Rather than HYBE Geffen outsourcing the demos like they usually have, Lara is making sure she's in the rooms with the writers and producers for KATSEYE Sophia already said in the Allure interview that each girls plays a key role in the group, and Lara is 100% in charge of creative/musical direction when it comes to speaking up for the 5 girls. They fully trust her instinct and vision, and its clear Lara is only going to have more and more power and say as time goes on for KATSEYE It already started last year when they allowed her to remix Gnarly with Slush Puppy, now she has writing credits for WILD, and she'll 100% have more and more agency and be all over the new music they release next year. I fully trust Lara and her vision being in charge for the girls. It's exciting to anticipate what she's cooking
  7. The literally collapse Hootie Frutti is going to be during their live shows, I can't wait to see how they perform it I can already hear it seamlessly transitioning into MIA on tour and the arena going feral the exact moment
  8. oh, they're TAKING it

    UPDATE: Oh that's not -
  10. I think it's "we're giving her as much time as she possibly needs" and as of now September is the next check in date. The earliest I could see her make an appearance is end of September for the "Forgotten Island" premiere where she has her first movie soundtrack song — and then rejoin the girls for the US leg of the tour in mid October But it genuinely seems like she's burnt out with her ADHD reaching an unbearable, unmanageable level. And that was from a podcast recorded in May. So I'm glad she's finally taking her first break since moving from the Philippines to LA to join HYBE in 2021, and actually taking proper time to focus on her health - since it's spiralled this badly
  11. I was talking about the hold up of announcing Manon's obvious departure with friends last night and one who's a lawyer asked if they had any active campaigns still going with the original lineup - and then I remembered this was posted 11 days ago And this was literally posted yesterday L'Oreal literally owns Matrix, I can imagine how ironclad this brand deal was between them and HYBE Geffen. They hired the 6 girls with the intention of each promoting different hair textures. The campaign launched literally the day before Manon was put on hiatus in February. Regardless of the endless drama, noise and think pieces, Manon technically, by all legal terms "is on hiatus for her health and well being" and is still a "member of KATSEYE" allowing L'Oreal/Matrix to continue posting and fulfilling the contract they hired HYBE / the girls for. My friend then said it was probably at least a year signing with L'Oreal - which mean it prevents HYBE from technically officially "removing her" without them having to pay a fine. Though you'd think at this point they would just take the penalty with how much of a PR nightmare this whole Manon situation become. But then he also brought up the point that HYBE wouldn't be sweating cause the bottom line has proven to be untouchable regardless. The album has a 1M presaves on Spotify, they just had their biggest opening week with "Animal" on Billboard, and of course the world tour is 100% sold out. He also said they need A LOT of time to iron out what's going to happen to Manon with her lawyers. Its clear HYBE Geffen set up/approved multiple brand deals for Manon in the meantime to keep her happy (Coach at Coachella, Tommy at F1, Jacquemus etc) Whether she stays with the company (which I don't see how she'd want to at this point) and what that severance package would be if she does part ways with HYBE Geffen - they''ve probably been sorting out all the details these last few months. I know its kind of wild to think that a hair campaign is what's keeping the obvious from finally being announced, but when I saw them still posting about it as of this week, it does make sense, which means they'll probably go on the world tour with her still on "hiatus" and the announcement probably will come in the new year... Or the deal isn't that long and it gets announced sooner. Then everyone can finally move on with their lives
  12. Can't stop playing this
  13. Will forever be proud of everything she accomplished during this career changing and defining era And she's just getting started
