They were advertising “Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s first Shallow performance” more than any 2018-19 film that year. People care when there something to watch.

Not true at all. It's still an Oscar and even if she's losing, she should go and put on a great performance. Her Oscar performance in 2019 was a bigger highlight than most of those wins.

 

She's a smart lady and she knows how to play the game, she won't **** up all the goodwill she has in the industry/academy

Because Shallow was a huge smash, and people were obsessed with Gaga and Bradley. Usually, people don't care about all those minor categories, including BOS. Like, do you remember who won BOS two years ago? This is a big non-event.

She's definitely attending, if she accepted to present the year they snubbed her why she shouldn't go while nominated, and it's still part of the networking with the Academy, she won for song 4 years ago, why suddenly some people are demanding that they give to her another BOS when we were all settle for a nomination

Which is why I said “something to watch.” People always dismissing Music Oscar awards is funny to me because the majority of EGOT winners are for music.
