I guess we’ll see. I would love to be wrong about this. I want HMH to have its moment. I was just trying to prevent the inevitable meltdowns for something she hasn’t promised. Bottom line, congrats to Gar on another nom. 
 

Im very excited. She should perform HMH Chromatica Ball style with fire and leather. Shes not winning but idc she already has an Oscar for music, acting is next!

If she can't attend because of the movie, it would be a valid excuse, but I doubt, Oscars are not a last minute thing, she knew this nomination was possible, along with her team and her movie studio team, this is already early publicity for JFAD, the studio would be the first to suggest her to attend.

Including the Luncheon event.

 

Rachel Zegler (basically a nobody) literally managed to put on stop a whole Disney production in the UK just to go presenting last year

I really hope Angela wins. Her performance in the movie was just alright, but this would be more of a life time achievement award.

For me Gaga is doing amazing with her movies. ASIB was a breakthrough moment for her,  from the praise to her acting even getting an Oscar nomination to the praise from the GP  to the soundtrack from Grammy winning and Oscar winning even #1 BB HOT.
she need to stay around in blockbuster movies that you need to really act, and sell. the perfect combo, and that's ASIB, that was Gucci wasn't big as some people expected but did good. and she got the praise and awards.
Joker is loved by Oscars she knows it. She knows she can play Harley. this movie is going to again smash in box office, she will get the praise and maybe nominations. which is all she needs, after Joker 2 smash she will be able to get again good roles. they know she can sell tickets.
