  1. You clearly don’t know what irony means. I’ve been praising the hell out of the Rennie tour.
  2. Can you read? Not a single Monster is saying anything nasty in this thread. You all say this **** with everything Gaga does. Lady Gaga is an artist. Everything she does is deliberate. She doesn’t have a team of people who pull in her references for her. She does it. Pretending like the Chromatica show didn’t have a theme or budget is just delusional. You all think big screens = high budget when in actuality a custom set piece a la the BTW Ball and the Chromatica Ball are much more expensive. Screens are reused from other shows and applications, custom set pieces are not. The vision throughout the Chrome tour was very clear from start to finish. It’s her most cohesive show to date. From what I saw last night, it’s the Rennie tour that feels as if there is no singular theme. It’s a bunch of themes put into one show, and tbh it works.
  3. You can’t look at this and say with a straight face it’s not 100% Chromatica.
  4. Always so bitter and nasty. No one who’s confident of their fave acts like this.
  5. I’m a Gaga Stan so I obviously like the Chrome tour more. I feel it’s more consistent thematically and I’m obsessed with brutalist design. It’s Gaga returning to the stage after so many years and she really brought her all. But the Rennie tour looks phenomenal. The camera work alone is a show in and of itself. I love the usage of the props and the production is breathtaking. The two shows are easily the best we’ve seen from female popstars in the past ten years. Easy. Then again, any show these women do would be amazing considering they’re natural-born entertainers. They don’t use props and production as a way to distract from their lack of performance talent like some others do, and they could really stand on stage with nothing and their charisma and star power alone would kill it.
  6. Fair enough, and good point tbh.
  7. this is a good assessment and makes the most sense. her universally praised and acclaimed performance? months of preparing for her upcoming blockbuster movie role that will garner even more critical acclaim and award buzz (not every popstar who tries to be an actress can get that).
  8. at the time, no. she was genuinely one of the best. looking back with the lense of 2023... kind of. she was a very cookie cutter performer and didn't really do anything outside of the box.
  9. thing is, if we fight back the mods give us WPs while transphobic attacks on gaga get a pass lmao.
  10. also, like, it should bring you satisfaction that the person so many claim to be "the best" is pulling the same references/ideas as gaga did a while ago. these stans have told us time and time again gaga has had no impact and this proves otherwise. it's validation even if those stans don't want to admit it.
  11. tea. like, i don't get how someone could watch either of them and think anything bad. both are masterclasses in how to put on a pop production. --- is important to acknowledge what you see on here and stan twitter is the EXACT opposite of the real world. gaga is a beloved, respected actress and singer who is loved by the public AND the industry. the numbers show it. these people who act otherwise literally do not live in reality. they have to live in a fake world in order to feel better about themselves.
  12. taylor dated a minor, right? makes sense they're together.
  13. as long as it triggers the libs, that's all that matters! this is going to destroy the floridian economy. this law is going to pulled back ASAP.
  14. the funny thing about this, trump, and elon is that if they had just stayed in their lane as opposed to running for office/being famous, their corruption would've went unnoticed. but their desperation for attention has made them easy targets for scrutiny.
  15. Give her a McDonald's Sprite. That'll knock her ass right out and we'll be free from this mess. I remember how angry some Dems got at Katie Porter for announcing her Senate bid because it was "disrespectful" to this old hag.
  16. but what are we supposed to do? stans on atrl will always do stuff like this. gaga is the most universally successful and respected popstar on this forum so she's always going to be a punching bag to stans who cannot stand that fact. we can't change that. all we can do is understand their anger comes from pure jealousy. it is a fact the beyhive and swifties hate gaga because she accomplished with ONE movie, her first movie, what their faves have spent years trying to accomplish. that is a them problem, not a monster problem imo.
  17. "professional team"... wtf are you people talking about? do y'all think gaga has a bunch of randoms on her team? her team is filled with the same type of professionals as every other popstar. it is GAGA who doesn't want to do x, y, z. she doesn't have the same business mindset someone like bey does, so pumping out content is never the main thing on her mind. stop ******* acting like she's a new artist who can be controlled by bobby or a "team". she makes the decisions. it's just a product of stans not having a breadth of references to pull from. everything is so surface level to the majority of them. like you said, they are both pulling from the same reference, but gaga approached it differently from bey. the similarities are coincidental because when two people are pulling from the same thing, similarities are bound to happen.
  18. Deranged losers. Just because you've been brainwashed to worship Beyonce and think everything she does is amazing, doesn't mean others are obligated to share your delusions. Most people felt the same way as Ajay until the PR machine kicked in and people started getting scared of criticizing the tour. The album as a whole is messy, sloppy, and a desperate attempt to appeal to young people.
  19. I saw a lot of dancing? Sure, some of it felt more subdued than what we're used to, but Beyonce is a mother of multiples and is in her 40s. It makes complete sense for her to slow things down a bit. She makes up for it in pure charisma and stage presence and the production of the show is phenomenal.
  20. I have not seen any evidence of this? --- Uh... because Bey is a grown woman who made the decision that her foot injury/surgery didn't justify cancelling a show or the tour as a whole. She knows her body and knows if she can handle it. She clearly can.
  21. There are a actually a lot of things from the Renaissance tour that I've seen in other places, but Beyonce makes them work in her own way.
  22. This is genuinely ******* deranged. There are a lot of weird things stans do, but this is one of the weirdest I've ever seen. Using sick babies to push your stanning... They need to be fired.
  23. The staging reminds me of those massive music festival stages that are always so amazing. The staging is simple but yet so effective. She ate that.
  24. Omg this looks so different from what I’ve seen at her other shows. There are so many set pieces and props she’s interacting with and she’s doing Ssoooooo much that it almost feels like she was just doing random ****… but it all works and is a lot of fun. The camera work being shown on the big screens is a show in and of itself. That is top notch production quality. loved the ball segment with the queer and trans dancers. Certain other popstars who claim to be Allies are doing nothing showcasing queer people during their current tours while Beyoncé is paying true homage to the people who love this album. she just exudes charisma. Even when she was a little slow with her choreo, the star quality was oozing. So good.
  25. She's very clearly not dancing as much, but there's obviously a reason. Either her foot injury or she decided to switch it up a bit. It's also weird seeing her with a small troupe of dancers. Maybe she wants the focus to be on the music, her singing, and the amazing production.
