Hopefully LG7 finally shuts everyone up who keeps saying Gaga lost her creative spark after 2013.

Though that'll likely just depend on commercial success cause if Disease smashed everyone would be praising it.

I mean, Disease is a great pop song, but it's nothing new from Gaga.

I hope LG7 will bring more experimentation from her, despite how much I love Disease and how well done it is.

The snippets we've heard so far (Notorious Begin and Abracadabra) have got me thinking we're gonna get it.

The next single probably won't come until the week before the album, since DWAS isn't leaving the top spot anytime soon

I see what you mean; it does have similarities in terms of structure to her older stuff and isn't that experimental (it is the lead)

But something about it does feel like a new territory to me. Especially vocally. And production wise it's so fresh & dark but still somewhat different from that of BTW's vibe.

this gag... this was her last good music video. it hit so hard at the time after the terrible video that million reasons got

Tbh I wouldn't be opposed to having a couple of songs on the album that are like multiple songs mashed into one. I feel like a few of the tracks from HMHAS were like that. Songs like Knew Better/Forever Boy and Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary come to mind too.

i'm sorry but that never works for me because the shorter one is also the better song. at least billie gave us over now (extended)

Gagacabana announcement is coming... and it's confirmed some of her music will be played during the fireworks show. I mean it's obvious at this point

Also i was thinking about how she has "RIO" tattoed on her neck just for it to be the place she's playing her biggest concert ever. Idk if that was some kind of foreshadowing but destiny/life has been so gentle with her... on every aspect. It was bound to happen

disease, rain on me and 911 are all good videos, but john wayne is the only one that comes close to 2009-2014 excellency

The Tarsem Singh disrespect. My god.

Honestly her MVs are still usually great, even if they're not as consistently good as they were in the first few years. Just looking at the most recent:

Disease — good video, memorable looks

Nurtec ODT — the only migraine medication that helps treat and prevent all in one

911 — masterpiece on every front; easily one of her best

Rain On Me — solid pop music video; visuals and choreo are memorable and match the vibes of the song

Stupid Love — if a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Shallow — good!

John Wayne — good!

Edited by Entalan

911 and disease are better than John Wayne (music video AND song!)

but I do love the energy of the John Wayne music video and they are relatively similar in quality (music video wise, song wise 911 & disease crush it)

im over not knowing what abracadabra sounds like

im getting impatient

sorry

the way Chaos Princess already has three of her best songs:

Disease

Garden of Eden/Girlfriend/Zombified

... and of course, Abracadabra.

kinda locked to be her best album since BTW (not even trolling on this aspect), and is a contender for her best album. can't wait!

Gaga and Bruno having a hit as big as DWAS this deep into their careers is really rare and remarkable. Legends only. :clap3:

To be honest, not even haters said D is a bad song. She kinda had everyone choked with it.

Still don't understand why it didn't do better. Guess it's because of Gags' screams.

Idk it's performing on par with Stupid Love (although with Spotify being bigger now than it was in 2020) without an announced album to back it up; Gaga is a promo sensitive artist but she has been split between projects and has that one orphan song in particular being eaten up by the GP (which is now being rectified by Gaga confirming it part of the album cycle but the public won't know that) and LG7 conversation isn't going to cut through until we get something tangible…almost like an official announcement and hopefully a vision that has people gagging for something RAH RAH in same way people were really grabbed by Gaga twirling in her 60s drag with a cigarette.

A strong rollout in the New Year would help Disease from bleeding out and another song take off.

Truly. Imagine getting a song-of-the-decade contender in the third decade of your career :clap3:no wonder certain people are spiraling into psychosis :gaygacat4:

Yeah, this all makes sense. Maybe this kind of performance will be our new "normal" from now on. It's not the best, but it is still impressive for someone that's been so long in the game.

At the same time, I still feel like she can smash big again with the right timing + songs. Seems like there is always unexpected circumstances holding her music down. :noparty:

I'm really curious to see what else they will try doing to sell the album and aim for GP approval, considering that's what they want. Adding DWAS is definitely part of it.

Die with a Smile is now at 13.6 million SPS units WW :clap3:

LG7 being at 2-3 million SPS before even the album title is announced, wow

It is looking like DWAS will reach 2b streams in less than 200 days.  :deadbanana:

It is still averaging 10.2m streams since its released.

What's the most streamed song on Spotify? Does anyone know? And with how many streams?

dance monkey not making the top 10 is shocking lol

Idk why but somehow John Wayne video doesn't click for me, instead, 911, ROM work very well. Disease is in the middle. It lacks something idk what.
