TBH, Homecoming: The Live Album is a greatest hits album of her biggest Urban cuts. Through one-to-one covers, sampling, and interpolations, she really fit almost her whole catalog of Urban singles in there.

 

Now, I want her to release a 7-track Greatest Hits live EP with her biggest past pop cuts. Her 2011 Glastonbury set fits the bill:

"Naughty Girl", "Irreplaceable", "If I Were A Boy", "Sweet Dreams", "Halo", "Best Thing I Never Had" and bonus cover "Beautiful Ones/Sex On Fire".

Let's add Disappear too. One of her best pop ballad, if not the best.

I know this a jokey dramatic comment but I wanted to say... its kinda literally the opposite for me. I actually feel like this trilogy act - conceptually and musically - has helped stay younger. At a time when the world is just one disaster after another - with things literally falling apart and changing in scary ways (politically, socially, technologically), it is enough to age a person with stress alone. Within that, seeing B give this her all in terms of her art, and being focused on healing and building a legacy, really reminds me to heal, to be bold, to always fight and have faith, to dance, to cry, to take a stance.

I don't think anything is off.  She's simply in a different phase of life... She works hard when she does work (probably harder than any current pop star, still), but there are other things more important in her life than rehearsing 20 hours a day seven days a week.

 

I think Dua Lipa is also an incredibly hard worker, but has figured out you cannot dedicate your whole life to your career so she gets unfairly clowned for going on vacations.  Bey realized this around the time Blue was born and shifted her mindset too.

 

She's having more fun than she ever has.  If that means glancing at a teleprompter or dancing a little less, I'll take it.

I have felt for a while her strive for perfection has left us with a Beyoncé that doesn't let Sasha out on stage anymore.

I knew that day would come, but even then it doesn't sit right with me using the words "Beyoncé" and "lazy, phoning it in" in the same sentence. She had to slow it down eventually. Did you even attend the tour? She was remarkable and doing it on such a high level? Unprecedented. Do you even know what it takes to go on tours of this magnitude, every other two years? The amount of planning and rehearsals it takes is ridiculous. I know the days of her crushing it live at the Super Bowl, BET Awards, CMAs, VMAs, Campaign Show, Grammys for the same f***ing album IN THE SAME F***ING YEAR are over, but that doesn't mean she isn't building her legacy even further. It's quite literally the opposite.

While I don't think anything is wrong with her, I think you perfectly summed up a big chunk of what others have been saying since RENI. We can only imagine how stagnant you can feel, some days, when nearly half a decade is tied to what you wanted to how you felt years ago. There must be days where she wants to have a "BOW DOWN" moment, or even just express herself in a different light, depending on her headspace, but just can't. I think that's why she turned the 'opening act' for the last tour into such a fashionable moment, with the customers and hair. 

 

While this tour has been amazing, I know my show was definitely amazing till she almost took a tumble, there are moments where she looks like she's just going through the motions, especially during "Daughter", she just looks so bored. And there's no telling how long she's been with these songs, she held "THIQUE" for a decade, and "YA YA" for nearly 15 years.Of course, we're just speculating this because she looked at a prompter too many times 🥴❗️
