But wasn't Beyoncé the one coming with the mixing ideas for Homecoming and before? Homecoming is so Jay-Z heavy, it was definitely her. She worked on Homecoming for more than 2 years, you can't expect that level of reworking for every single tour or performance.

Do remember that in 3 years, she has released 2 albums, made 2 tours with around 30 songs on each tour and released some remixes in the middle and did the Beybowl. 

 

That's too much. Even for her. 

 

CC is also a laid back album, it was good to be performed as such imo. I think that was also her vision. 

 

But indeed if some rock songs warrant a complete departure from the studio versions, why not? 

 

But since I was one of the people saying during the Renaissance's tour that she should just let the studio version for most songs, the hits in particular, I can't go back on it. And frankly, it probably contributed to the fact that CCT is my favorite tour. Sometimes, you just want to sing along and dance to what you are familiar with 80% of the concert.

Yeah, kinda weird how her old songs don't really soar when they get viral. They always peaked at less than 1M.

Im just so excited for Act 3 because I've learned with Act 1 and Act 2 that while honoring the genre (in this case Rock), it won't sound anything like the Rock-adjacent songs shes released so far. Bey simply refuses to repeat herself, and that makes her and her output so friggin exciting.

 

At this point, I wouldnt be surprised to hear her on a Nirvana-sample

I love the idea of her reinterpreting her music, but unfortunately she hasnt really shown any interest in doing so during these trilogy tours. There were no back catalogue dance reinterpretations for Rennie (a la Confessions on a Dancefloor), rather it was her most ballad heavy tour yet, while obvious country-leaning hits like IIWAB and Irreplaceable were begrudgingly performed as studio versions after fans demanded more well known tracks on the CCT setlist.

 

I think she'll pick some songs like Green Light and Freakum Dress which lend themselves to electric guitars, and I hope she has more rock numbers, but I doubt it tbh.

I NEED Kevin Parker from Tame Impala involved in Act 3. A Same Old Mistakes or Bordeline-esque song would drive me nuts. She's already proven she can do a whispery psychedelic-ish song with Love Drought.

More and more straight white men are popping up on my TikTok fyp playing the electric guitar to her songs. It's like a hunger games battle to be hired for act 3. Good luck booking that stage you speak of!

 

I would love for Beyonce to revamp/flip this song like she did with "Savage (Remix)".

While the 10-year anniversary has passed, and an original collab would be ideal, I could settle with this.

The long-discussed Telephone Part II is one of them, but she could well collaborate with Adele, Mariah, Doechii, Doja, Cardi, Ariana or Solange and any one of those options would be pretty significant for her. Some of the mashups below are fantastic and some are mid, but they give you the sense of what a collab might feel like.

Hmm. Of these, probably Solange. But to be honest I don't really get that excited about the prospect of a collaboration with another big female artist. That doesn't seem to be where Bey is at her strongest creatively. I prefer it when she works with people who push her, and she pushes them, sonically.

OMG OMG OMG THAT ADELE REMIX IS THE BEST MASHUP IVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE. THE INSTRUMENTAL AND BOTH THEIR VOICES BLEND SO WELL. THEY PUT THEIR SUGA MAMA FOOT IN THAT.
