THIS is why I will comfortably acknowledge that, while I found CCT to be her most enjoyable show, the musical direction was very obviously subpar. Her team's refusal to work All Night into the setlist, to incorporate Suga Mama, IIWAB and Irreplaceable from the start, etc, is lowkey unforgivable!

The Archandroid and The Electric Lady has been the go-to outline of my personal expectations for Act 3, I'm absolutely sure she can deliver something on the same level and this musical direction is a delight to my ears. I want MAXIMALISM!

Its slightly unfortunate that we may not

get performances of said songs because how choreography heavy in

sure she intended them to be based on the music videos. However I did forget My Power is from that project and was a corner stone of the RWT.

Black Parade was also from TG era and she performed it during Rennie. She also performed BSG + Bigger at the Dubai show, so not all hope is lost 

Saturday Vegas date almost completely sold out, Friday show looks better than some of the LA and London shows did at the same point.

TBH, Homecoming: The Live Album is a greatest hits album of her biggest Urban cuts. Through one-to-one covers, sampling, and interpolations, she really fit almost her whole catalog of Urban singles in there.

 

Now, I want her to release a 7-track Greatest Hits live EP with her biggest past pop cuts. Her 2011 Glastonbury set fits the bill:

"Naughty Girl", "Irreplaceable", "If I Were A Boy", "Sweet Dreams", "Halo", "Best Thing I Never Had" and bonus cover "Beautiful Ones/Sex On Fire".

IDK, but they'll be good, the prices are unchanged, floor seats are still almost 1k (with fees).  I expect they'll be comparable to probably Atlanta? Maybe more?

they were always going to. saturday was just added a few days later, but it's the final show. it'll be a fun one.

imo she's just not that into this type of music + most of the songs and the concepts are old and from a time when she was in a different headspace than she is now. it's telling that the best performances on this tour are the least country and most beyoncé ones (yaya, tyrant, SHB, IIHIIH)

 

her private life probably doesn't help either, between tina's cancer, family members passing away, jay's lawsuits, the constant hate trains, everything else going on in the world… it's just a weird time in her life i think
