No, I agree...  I've loved her looks for CC, but I think the overall consensus is her fans just aren't as here for the country aesthetic or sound, especially over the flamboyancy of renaissance

curious, I still think 6 weeks is too long. if theyre gonna release CCT I think they should make it a 2-3week limited run, which will encourage more turnout because of the 'exclusive' angle and keep people thirsty. a shorter run also means that if the box office is disappointing it can be blamed on the shorter lifespan, rather that it get potentially pinned on the so-called "weakening influence" Bey has over the GP (which tabloids are already running with).

 

I've also wondered what the narrative of this tour film would be - i.e. what would make it different to the renaissance film in terms of the documentary segments. I think they should lean into the country angle, the experience Bey had during the CMAs, the history of country in America and treat it like a documentary on genre as much as it is a tour film. A segment could also focus on Rumi's appearance and Blue's increased presence, while another could focus on her finally winning the album of the year.

Not even a case of having a hunch about it, but it's her easiest and smartest card to play.

 

CCT is factually a record breaking tour, but we can see that there is a lil fatigue / oversaturation with the back to back "North America + Sprinkles of Europe"

model she has been hammering.

 

The fanfare and immediate sellouts that will greet Act III if/when she announces Aus, NZ, Brazil etc dates will be immense. 
 

She notably hasn't touched a lot of Euro countries in close to a decade too. Italy, Ireland, and many more.

 

So, the Act III itinerary could easily sit somewhere in the range of dates she did for RWT and CCT and simply be comprised of mostly cities she's skipped during those tours and limited shows in her core strong cities she always does (LA, London, NYC, ATL, Houston).

 

In short lol, she ought to capitalize on delayed gratification and milk it to the max. 
 

Total conjecture, but I really feel this is already the plan and why CCT run is so left of her usual. 
 

RWT - a conventional ish run

 

CCT - deliberately shorter, more residency-like in select spots. A "come

to me" tea.

 

Act III Tour - international focus, use the

ace card that is eager fans in previously overlooked cities. Plus her usual. 
 

She could even rinse and repeat this format for the foreseeable. Post the trilogy.

The closeups from RWT are. . . a literal choice. They're incredibly too polished and clean, forcefully playing into the 'beauty shot' angle she usually only plays for photos. 
 

It's nothing that ruins the actual viewing experience though, just awkward. But, she's also editing these films and photos and, of course, she's concerned with how she looks in theaters grand scheme of it all. For a perfectionist, having a close up of starring into an empty stadium is critical to show how perfect her mug and costume is. 
 

Hopefully for Act III, we get to see her sweaty, limp curls, waisted makeup and grudge aesthetics in the film, if it's pushing Rock‼️

Im with you.

I honestly think the doom and gloom just stems from the fact that Beys longevity is unprecedent. Not even Madonna was THAT successful almost 30 years into her career.

They have been especially more consistently good since she has a tighter concept for them. You can ask any designer to do something ballady or silver and they can out anything from their codes but ask them to do something western and it will take more thought. 
 

She's had a couple chops but recovered. I think night 2 of Chicago, NYC and London had the iffy costumes but then came back to form. The flamenco section has the best since it allowed her to play into western wear more broadly and they don't necessarily have to all be "stage" costumes. The finale or THE ones are the biggest chops.

I am curious about her going to places like Latin America, would it be worth the return?  Just naturally, she'd have to charge quite a bit less - and the cost of her production is really high, and I'm sure the cost of transportation, and staffing is high as well
