I think the single will drop early 2026 like Texas did. If she keeps up the 29 release date pattern the album will drop 05.29.26. tour in the following spring for sure. Visual might drop at the end of 2027 to culminate 30 years of her career but otherwise that's 2028.

Renny film in Dolby theater was SO DAMN GOOD. I love going to the tour, but the sound system is really difficult to perfect in stadiums that were built for football. SoFi in LA on opening night was probably the worst stadium I've seen a concert in, in terms of acoustics.

 

a tour movie is an incredible opportunity for us to hear every detail in her live arrangements. I don't know why any fan would be against that idea. 

I know her launch strategy for the last 2 singles/albums appears to be 'upload the song and sit back' but there's a lot more going on behind the scenes when they prepare for the album launch. And whilst she's not publicly visible (for the most part, she had some appearances for CC in LA and Japan), that doesn't mean she is not working.

 

Also, whilst she's not 70 years old, touring must be extremely energy draining (you've seen the show!), she is going to need to recover before she dives into whatever the next act is.

And we know that even if 90% of act iii is recorded, she'd still be improving it…

Don't make it sound like she does nothing, just because she doesn't have the promo calendar of a 20 year old pop star.

But also on streaming and a live album so we can watch and listen whenever we want. She used to be so good about releasing her shows on home media, I don't know why she's withholding everything in the past decade.

i saw multiple people say that but i doubt it, she obviously films parts of most/all dates but if she FILMS films for a tour movie she has to put up a sign at the entrance of the stadium that states that filming will be happening and that the audience agrees to being in the film by attending the concert, which she hasn't done yet

In this era of promo-scarcity (not just with Bey, but all artists), I get our want for "more". Hell, the very CC tour doc I'm saying I don't "want", I'd gladly "take".

 

The only way it makes sense (IMO) is if she has a firm deal in place with Netflix for the visuals for all acts. Thus, allowing her to play the theater game for another tour film. 

 

If not, why waste what could be an incredible theater experience for the acts, for the visuals on another tour film. It cannibalizes the interest for the "main" thing IMO.

and i dont see how concert films correlate with a bunch of music videos to be released later...if ever. up until Formation tour, Beyonce used to release concert films for every tour..sometimes 2 shows within 1 era (I Am World Tour & I Am Yours)

 

idk what is it with the Hive and why many of you have been so strange about the CC era...from the obsession with skipping to Act 3 quickly, not thinking CC deserves its own tour, and now it shouldn't be immortalized with its own official tour film?? but its weird.

 

reminder...this is Beyonce's AOTY...a groundbreaking, milestone album & achievement she's wanted her whole career. it deserves to be upheld & commemorated for everything its worth. its not a placeholder album or era.

That is the rationale of any tour concert? She's done one for every concert sans FWT. That is her norm.

I didn't see this. 

It was #1 in the film's box office in France (!!!), I don't think any tour concert has ever been #1 here, excluding Les Enfoirés. That's huge. Just for that, it was a smash.

 

Not but seriously, there's only one concert in history that has done better and grossed more so she has every reason to be proud imo? 

Beyoncé did her big one with the FWT stage. That tour was one for the mfing books

this is not true. she could put up signs that say that, if she wanted to. only out of courtesy. concert venues are private property and by purchasing tickets and entering the stadium, you're agreeing to all the terms and conditions and being recorded and your likeness being used etc.

 

at least in the US, she doesn't actually need it. she used audience footage from so many different dates for the RWT movie, I don't think she had notices up back then either.

That Eagle Bodysuit is SUBLIME and should have been present since the first show - it might be my favorite piece from the whole tour and has iconic written all over it

This tour is MUCH more limited than RWT was. People in all of the other states/countries she skipped would get to see the show.

yeah the opening is insane, and the energy doesn't die down until Alligator Tears.

 

she can easily chop the Renaissance section + Diva for the tour movie. it would still be almost 3 hours long, probably, but with documentary elements.
