Just 5 years ago she released a film for her most prolific performance on the most successful and globally known streaming service. And last year we got RWT in cinemas worldwide. I know some of her moves are highly irritating at times, but then you can still see when she's trying to reach the biggest possible audience.

Her issue is she acts like Prince in the 80/90s or Sade in the 90s while disregarding the fact that she, in fact, is part of another era. Music consumption worked differently, reverence was built different, LEGACY was acquired differently.

She applies what she's seen before in faith itll do the same to her, when reality is that 3 weeks after the release of her well-curated albums people dont give a **** about new Beyoncé output. Dangerously in Love, Halo, Love On Top and all her other legacy songs keep outperforming her newest output because the GP doesnt care about "new Beyonce" after the release. So her legacy fades, year by year, less people care. And for someone to care so much about legacy, I find it extremely funny how bad she is at cultivating it.

As she said herself, as a black woman, she has to work thrice as hard to have the same as others, so with her working LESS than those, she ends up where she ends up. 

 

Every album release worse than before, less longlasting attention. The music industry will slowly but surely take away her status, sooner than later they take away her status as the best performing musician, shes already lost her status as the highest grossing touring act.

 

 The reason I stan her is because shes the best to do it and there is a wonderful feeling about knowing the best actually gets the best and is seen as the best. But when she so obviously doesnt care anymore, then all that remains is someone whos rich and complacent

 

Rihanna, for all the waiting the Navy has to go through, will at least eventually release an album and will be present and be showcasing the album in full pride. Shes always done that. 

 

We as Hive on the other hand get the music, but not the artist. I don't know whats worse.

In early July I ordered my first round of Cecred products. My order # started at roughly 130k. Long story short my package was stolen and I cursed mama Tina out and they sent me a replacement in late July and my order # was 140k. Assuming order numbers are in numerical order do yall think 10k sales in 1 month is good? If not, I see why she's jumping ship to Whiskey that no one is gonna buy. Nothing new nothing different. Anyways I still stream Cowboy Carter up to Texas and then skip to II Hands to finish the album. I've also recently fell in love with the remix that I initially hated. I'm surprised it barely has a million streams on Spotify.

with broomstick being the biggest performer in the world now it's only going downhill for her reputation as a performer from here on out 

 

not performing anywhere, refusing to perform her biggest hits, performing random songs locals don't care about, deleting and hoarding all of your past performances will just accelerate that decay. you'd think her ultimate goal is for the next generation to completely forget who beyoncé even was

She will release the Renaissance Film on 1st December, on its first year anniversary (and on World AIDS Day, with a letter about it with it to shut up Angelica). But only if she gets nominated to Best Music Film at the Grammys, like she did with the Formation video back in 2016.

I think the main thing is that it's hard to give much to this type of hyperbole-dipped hype Maddie is doing when the reality is that whatever Bey has up her sleeve - amazing as it is - will be some version of the expected. Visuals...for...music. 

 

So, be it a film, a series, a cool multiverse concept, it will still be.... visuals for music. There's an upper limit to the "next level" it can actually be within those parameters. 

 

So, IMO, I'll save my hype for when it all drops.

I'm seated a bit with one cheek off the cushion tbh like we know something is going to come to fruition. Sure, she scraps stuff all the time, but, I'm 100% sure her plan is to release some sort of visual for this three act project. It doesn't seem likely to me that she wouldn't. It just doesn't. Even in her note upon act i's release she pretty much hinted that she was just going to take her time and "enjoy the music" alluding to release strategy back in 2022. She even said the same when act ii was released. It actually makes sense for her to wait if she's doing a three act project to release a visual once it's completed. I mean, I was in the bandwagon demanding visuals for "BREAK MY SOUL" and "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" but honestly, I don't even watch music videos anymore; they're just not appealing to me and how I interpret music anymore. A "movie"-type visual is how I would prefer to see all of these songs and her vision come to life.

IMO, they don't need to be other thing other than visuals for music. The wheel is already invented. I'm just not moved because we're not close to getting the visuals. They're not coming before act iii and it's fine.

TikTok fan accounts are definitely saving Beyoncés legacy. Her hospital Halo performance went reviral on twitter the past week I think it has 3 million likes and over 16 million views. All the comments were praising her voice. A lot of the negativity regarding her talent is due to people's ignorance. All of her best performances are scrubbed from the web and can only be found on obscure fan accounts. Someone said she's trying to reach a larger audience via movie theaters but you're only reaching an audience that pays to watch. Unfortunately she's money motivated. Everything she does is for the all mighty dollar. She'd rather bag another million by making you pay to watch than have people watch a 10 year old performance of hers for free on YouTube.

I hear you and agree that there definitely is some kind of long-form visual "thing" in motion. 

 

At the same time, I absolutely don't think it's been this "grand plan". More a case of it evolving into that. Because we know for a semi-fact she was pitching a Renaissance visual (one quirkier and darker than anything she's done before) last year. That doesn't tally with her knowing from Summer 2022 that there "allegedly" wouldn't be a streamer that would take it and it'd be sitting unreleased. 

 

More realistically IMO, she pivoted to something more all-encompassing and it will all work out amazingly in the end.

I disagree - shes stated this stupid "a queen moves at her own pace" **** for a long time (unfortunately).
