I think it'll be largely dependent on what deal she makes with touring but with how last minute the additions were to CC I don't know what to expect from the timeline of this rollout anymore. If she plans on releasing the visuals in their entirety with Act III then reshoots will have to take place which might motivate her to have the album locked sooner than CC.

Yes if she performs at all it won't be until Thursday for sure. I honestly believe she will…I haven't seen any major musical announcement made regarding the dnc yet so even if the odds are slim, there is still a possibility she will perform.

Highly doubt Bey is that flip-floppy when it comes to her tours. As seen with the Rennie tour film, she takes her live endeavours very seriously and her piecing-together process appears to take way longer and is much more intricate than the average artist going on the road.

 

Objectively, CC is literally not a flop either. It's was preceded by a huge lead, delivered 3 top 10 singles, and is credited with spearheading the Country revival and Black Country conversation.  It's also Platinum and pending certification.

 

The momentum and buzz admittedly feels rather mute atm, but that's a more recent thing.

 

I don't subscribe to this "Bey-All-Powerful" narrative, but I will say that the lack of buzz is literally self-inflicted. If she announced dates in the months on either side of CC's release, we'd all be yee-hawing. Hell, we'll all be yee-hawing if she announced dates tomorrow. 

 

If there are live dates set aside then it's safe to say they have been in place for a while and will stick. 
 

If there's any change, I think it's less CC-driven and the result of something bigger. Like The Sphere negations falling through. 

Or because there was not meant to be a dedicated live component for CC and the next live "thing" will be for act iii. Maybe acts ii and iii combined. 
 

We'll see. 

I guess I've been focused on other things, but did you guys know Kobe Bryant's shelved 2000 debut album for Sony Music leaked a while back and his record with Destiny's Child circa 2000 leaked too?

 

 

The more I hear records from this 1999-2000 era, the more sad i get that DC4 didn't get a second album (or even a TWOTW deluxe) at the top of the world.

Perfect Man, Once A Fool, Baby, Baby, Baby, Ways To Get Cut Off (shelved), What Do You Want (written by Beyonce and sold to Darkchild's wife Joy Enriquez), and No More Rainy Days all had potential. Some as singles, others as solid album tracks.
