This was my thought but the more I'm thinking about it American Requiem lyrically would fit very well. We've seen her perform Freedom a billion times. Unless she does something unique I think she'd rather do something new and I'm sure she has full creative control over the song she performs.

 

IM PHYSICALLY SHAKING at the idea of performing American Requiem with the beatles playing the guitars and streams going up 250% which still wouldn't crack half a million btw💀. This could be EPIC. 

IT MAKES SENSE. Throughout the roars and screaming a hidden Beyoncé murmurs "can you hear me? I said DO YOU HEAR ME?". When she says " can we STAND FOR SOMETHIN" and everyone stands up together holding hands. 

AR intro and then transitions to Freedom, and she does a Michelle Obama ass speech "now is the time America" and then Kendrick rises from the stage and joins with her, and then she announces a tour and every ticket is bundled as a vote for Kamala and we all cheer

I usually don't care / understand or it is what it is .....but the no performances is getting tired , whether it's an acoustic /tiny desk performance filmed inna studio / her home or a major performance or regular . She is a Singer , it's not. much to open your mouth and vocalize for one or 2 songs . I mean Pink is on Tour and did a quick lil performance. ( Guess next time will be on tour lol )

I don't know why y'all thought Beyoncé was going to do anything besides watch from her million dollar cottage.  
 

I pretty much gathered when it was announced the she 'cleared her schedule' to join the campaigning for Kamala, two weeks ago, that this wouldn't happened. She donated her money and the license to "FREEDOM" and went on about her day. 
 

This wasn't even realistically possible, mainly because Bey uses her time to go to dinner, play with the twins and record her 2032 album. She's me it loud and clear, she's not performing unless she has something to gain, and there was nothing to move the goal post for her here.

Welp. Oh well. I watched the whole thing for nothing. The campaign definitely did that on purpose, they probably leaked the news on purpose to attract a certain demographic, they knew what they were doing. Bey gave them a license to her song and moved along. I'm starting to see why...
