I thought it was always obviously about having a night out without your significant other though :deadbanana2: Not just for women, but for men too

That's my take too. I was joking about it because i saw so many comments on instagram talking about a "cheating anthem" :dies:

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

This era has been so depressing. She might be performing for Kamala tonight but I need her to step down like Biden did and let Blue Ivy takeover at this point.

At most, she'll probably introduce her.

that's IF she comes.

Unpopular opinion but the same way I got second hand embarrassment from Megan twerking at the Kamala rally I also got that same cringe from Bey singing "WHEN HE **** ME GOOD I TAKE HIS ASS TO RED LOBSTER!!!!!" for Clinton. She should've swapped the lyrics for something more appropriate. There is a time and a place. If she puts on a performance please let it be Freedom. Cause if she sings about pouring sugar and (baby dats) liquor on her I will have to turn it off.

Even DNC Convention Chair Minyon Moore acknowledged she's in the dark with everyone else: "I think anything could be a surprise, even to us sometimes," Moore told MSBNC early this week when asked about the rumors.

A senior DNC source told the Daily Beast that the only DNC official who would know for sure if a global superstar like Beyoncé is participating in Kamalapalooza would be Ricky Kirshner, the award-winning live televised event producer who is orchestrating the entire production in Chicago.

And if Taylor Swift, who does have time off until her next Eras tour concert on Oct. 18 in Miami, were to appear to fulfill Democrats' wildest dreams—again, only Kirshner would know. A DNC spokesperson who requested anonymity (because his neck would be on the line for speaking freely about the forum's most sensitive topic) said he could "not confirm or deny" whether Beyoncé will grace the convention with her presence Thursday night. Questions about Swift rumors weren't even indulged.

Honestly, from the perspective of being a Bey fan I'd love a performance but Taylor and Beyonce coming out together to introduce Kamala would be a moment.

It'll probably be Jimmy Carter singing a Prince tribute or something, though.

WHAT? :deadbanana2:

Definitely leaning towards Beyoncé or Taylor. Beyoncé makes sense because of Freedom, but I think the only way Taylor can make her silence redeemable is by walking out and introducing Kamala.

Doing that TOGETHER?! I might actually listen to that girl's last two albums and all 186 variants.

if this gonna be the first performance of the era she better do american requiem at the very least

and only interpolate freedom

:clack:

maybe.

Kamala has been using Freedom as her walkout song since she announced. If Bey performs right before Kamala speaks, I think Freedom would be the most obvious choice, especially since Kendrick is supposedly in Chicago right now.
