Most of the "backlash" is tongue-in-cheek, but I do think most of the Hive is just annoyed by her inexplicably delaying Act III (we are in a middle of a trilogy that is unfinished) and doing this detour out of nowhere with the B'Day reissue. Which would be okay, but we still do not know what the "reissue" means in her context. And on top of that releasing a song that has nothing to do with B'Day and putting in additional effort to do a remix pack (additional versions, verses, a string band, a visual?!). Like why are we putting all this effort into an old song and not Act III? Why is she spending time and effort to revitalize Jay's career AGAIN and not Act III?

"Leak It" is really leaps and bounds above anything else on the album, they really put their whole p*ssies into that song. "Touché", "Remedied", "Cry Ugly" are good. I agree that there is something missing in the more R&B leaning songs, maybe it is indeed MNEKs pen. Overall, the album is not bad, but I liked AAA more on the 1st listen, hopefully it'll grow on me. Also, "Pose" should be deleted

I thought I was the only one who thought about TTPD when listening to this album. Between the vaguely similar aesthetics, verbose lyrics full of metaphors, random synths and lack of obvious hooks or big choruses it's kinda giving Ari's version of TTPD. I do like her version better on the first listen than the real TTPD though

That Girl video Her doing an animated m/v like it's the 5th single and they ran out of money. And the video itself is not even good, just some random animated scenes thrown together, looking questionably AI as well. This song needed a proper music video with some c*nt choreography, not this. Between this m/v and putting "Selfish" as a Japanese only bonus track she and her team are so lost

I LOVED her debut+ and WWP and they are more "A POP" than this album will ever be

Why would she play it at all the album listening parties if it's not on the album at all though?

It's just insane that she either scrapped or moved this song to the deluxe. She should've launched the album with it, like what... Another poor decision this era
