OK so, if there's one bonus to this SIRDAVIS launch, it's that I think it makes me more certain Bey is about to make a public appearance at the DNC. Since the start of this trilogy era, Bey always times her product launches alongside something based in her music career.

 

Ce Noir = Renaissance Film Release

Cecred = Cowboy Carter Launch

SIRDAVIS = DNC Week (Live Performance?) and potentially signals the release of the video she was shooting last month in that bar?

She seems to genuinely be passionate about these ventures (the perfume, the whiskey, the athleisure and the shampoo).

Selling music won't make you a billionaire, though (unless you are Taylor apparently). Selling overpriced haircare products, alcohol, perfume will, if it really takes off. That's why when she drops new music she instantly forgets about it and moves on to promoting her products, there is not that much money in it.

Unrelated to all the dragging but it's kinda crazy that due to her great-grandparents and her grandparents both having children in their late 40s, Bey has great-grandparents that were alive during The Civil War.  Her grandmother was born when her mother was 45 and then she had Tina at 45 herself. 

But like is she schizophrenic? Is she hearing voices? She keeps dropping side hustles in a very un-virgo like way. Instead of doing one really well she does several for a couple weeks each then dips. #NotMyBey

Oh I know we're mad but I actually love Cecred  It's actually quality hair care and I'll keep buying it for the foreseeable future. It's better to me than other products I've tired in the same or higher price range. I also would rather buy Cecred than more well known white owned brands imo. My hair has been loving it too.

 

Now the whiskey I won't be buying but I'm not a drinker anyways. Ive always felt alcohol is a waste of money lowkey.

I think Cecred seems like a great plan for her, tbh, and people seem to really love it.

 

Ce Noir was always touted as a limited, online only release.  IDK if it was supposed to be like a trial run or whatever and they decided not to pursue it any further, but that is how it was advertised.

I'm not spending $89 on whisky because I don't drink it. I probably would've impulse bought it pre-Renaissance era but I'm over buying everything she throws at us now  

 

That said, it seems to be getting a proper launch through Moet so maybe it'll actually do fairly well because Parkwood won't be the only ones running the show

Is it bad that I wish she would have created her own rolling papers or weed instead? The liquor market seems overpopulated imo. I also don't see what's the point of buying celebrity alcohol when the intent is to drink it. 

Whiskey ages better and you're supposed to drink it slowly but no one does that unless there some 40+ year old hick who is a liquor snob. 

 

At least if we would've have gotten a cannabis package it would be more interesting. Plus I want to buy my cannabis from a black person.

I actually love this idea. I could see her selling edibles too. She's already dabbled with CBD gummies. Would totally support a venture like that.

I could see it now, strains named after songs on CC and every album she could add new strains based on the album titled. 

You CANNOT tell me how fun and creative it would be to have a strain of cannabis named 'TEXAS HOLD 'EM', 'II HANDS II HEAVEN' & 'RIIVERDANCE'. Give us a rolling try with some CC papers and tips & include a grinder. I'd buy 5. 

 

SN: I'm streaming COWBOY CARTER even though I said I wouldn't stream the Lazy Whiskey Woman's music. I need the video for 'TYRANT' ASAP. The fact that she didn't release this as a summer song is TRAGIC.

Not Whisky  I couldn't care less for any of her business endeavors. Atp I would even be here for a Bodyguard TayTay Remix. 

I wouldn't buy a bottle but I'd order a shot just to taste it.

 

I don't have a problem with Beyoncé being an entrepreneur, her being famous helps her, but that doesn't mean she's counting on the hive alone to make this successful.

This would be a brilliant time to drop a Bodyguard visualiser tbh
