I'm really surprised by the support from radio this era. This will be extremely important when the album is released. Hopefully they keep it up.

HDD is reporting a higher number: 335 station adds. I thought that was a cumulative number since the song came out. No. That’s the number of adds THIS week. 

As I said, radio will thankfully carry Break My Soul to a cute chart run. The Hot 100 formula overweights radio a lot (which we usually hate, but will celebrate it now since it benefits Bey ), so it should stay stable in the top 15 if it keeps gaining, and potentially enter top 5 on Hot 100 if it can go top 3 on radio 

 

Its radio peak probably won’t be until mid August though.

This era feels so, so weird to me after ten years of something different.

This is all so exciting to me!

With the album dropping July 29, if radio keeps up I think it’ll definitely have a higher peak than that.

This era will def be a mix of emotions.

mama is slaying radio, the GP is EATING this song up, she's still making headlines. everything seems ok so far?

 

i mean i would love a music video, but the rest of it is very fine?

She effortlessly has the 'hype' without even trying. I'm pretty sure with all the headlines "B breaking radio records" " B scored first top ten" will make the GP interested with her material and eventually checking them out. When the hypes died down, she could reveal the video and do the promos. 

 

With all the ' resignation' controversy. She's making more headlines!

What's the numbers to be #1 on airplay? Irreplaceable did 200M impressions. I can't believe this is like 2000s all over again.

I’m glad the album is coming out in the month but I will be pissed if I have to wait 30 days and 30 nights for a visual of the song. 

I still wanna know what ''Act I'' means and how many acts she has in store. I dont even care about a video or a live performance right now. I  want to know more if there will be two albums.

Act II will def being a project of some sort.

This is true, but if radio is helping a single, it actually charts and streams for much longer than it did before. Heat Waves been charting for 75 weeks, Stay by Bieber. All these radio fueled hits STAY in the top 15, so it’s a double edged sword with the short attention span for streaming. Streaming monsters usually fizzle out, but radio monsters remain on the chart for months and months.

 

 

As others have stated, she needs to give up this stupid ass elusive tactic. It’s stale, it’s tired. We’re bored. If you were going to do this, you could’ve just announced the single Tuesday the 26th of July.

 

I have a feeling the beginning of July is when she will actually start dropping stuff

Jack Harlow is currently #1 with 114M impressions.

 

Break My Heart is already at 30M with 3M+ daily impressions across 6 formats.

 

It is currently the fastest growing track on radio and there is no current track that is growing across 6 different formats.

Break My Soul is so so good, it could really become an anthem. I can't help but want her team to push it hard. 

 

Also let's not forget it's a "sell-out" move so her team has to put some effort (we can only hope for very little so just transparency) to sell this album. After all, outside of 4, IASF has her lowest debut numbers despite being released in November because she also "sold out" . At least use her IG and Twitter to inform the world not just fans about what's going on. Things only being communicated on her obscure website is not the move. 

 

I personally feel like they might not deviate from the Lemonade and ST strategy and concentrate all their efforts on one or two weeks only so basically a Lemonade's era with a single for sale and sent to radio. So things will be interesting one week before release or during.
