Yea I am! And that was essentially my argument!! But he still argued me down because BTINH sounded too pop apparently, which it is pop-y but my point is just you never know. BMS could go #1 on urban radio. Ah ok. Gotcha.

There’s a big difference between 3 mil and 1-4 mill though and especially when the song was JUST added to over 330 stations. If there was a time to be getting big updates, it would be now.

How are the radio increases this low when so many stations added it? i was looking forward to it exploding on radio ugh. And it’s not rising as fast on AM or Spotify. Guess we just gotta be patient? !! i just thought the same thing. People screaming Nicki's queen cover, gaga or whatever else but Bey had the swarovski crystals first! And it's such a fitting reference with her return to pop and radio.

Exactly! I legit thought she maybe sent different versions of the song to different platforms at first because in every reaction video I’d notice a different chorus or layer and be like wtf! But then I’d go listen again, and it would be there. The gift that truly keeps on giving.

And on that note, let’s put some respect on the first chorus’ name. It establishes the basic mold that she riffs off of and changes every other time. It’s necessary from a story structure pov. It’s like the setup or normal world before we venture off on the adventure. The simplicity of the first chorus reminds me of a good old fashioned call and response in church

Yea that post is GODLY. The way Big Freedia really elevates this song and I can understand being trained for shorter songs. I’m not because I don’t listen to new music nowadays. It’s just too horrible. I’ve tried many times but the radio is just awful. And initially I didn’t get this post of the song, only in the past few days had it become my favorite part. it’s those damn off beat, perfectly harmonized “can’t break my sooouulll”s just zany!whew!
