That's the term we created for them. We have no idea what they looked like, so the commercialized version is all cute thing, but it's different than what this bird is touting. It's not obvious sarcasm, you are projecting your own beliefs on to her. There are people who believe this and she is not mocking them by regurgitating their talking points. The stupidity in what she's saying is that other civilizations HAVE found bones for centuries, but all believed they belonged to something else. I also know we have no idea if they assembled the dinosaurs correctly and they're just the best guesses based on bone structures. Dinosaurs could look completely different, we'll likely never know.
