The idea that Bey is going to do a sit one-on-one interview or do something like Hot Ones or Carpool Karaoke is delusional. 

 

I’d be surprised if she even did any TV promo at all. I mean, she could do so many promo slots and up to now we have had nothing apart from an Insta bio alteration. 

 

I’m really struggling with Yvette. Why would she put that stuff about the album rollout on her Insta if she wasn’t going to go all in with promo? I know it’s only been a week but I have many questions and doubts at this point. 

 

Have they even filmed the video yet? I’d expect it to be released tonight if she has. 

Can she just drop tour tickets and dates so I can plan? I've already ordered my 2 boxes with the album inside and the lead so that's about all there is : album, lead + tour. 

 

I am already a bit over this "era". My excitement deflated and peaked with Renaissance's announcement. It will probably go back up one week before the album, it would probably be more exciting then content-wise. Until then I am blasting BMS on repeat but there's very little here to discuss or dissect.

And before anyone defends Yvette, this is one of Bey’s own fans talking about the impending album. The hype before an album release should be on a continuous upwards trajectory, it shouldn’t be a wave. This is marketing 101. 

 

I also have a feeling the music video for Break My Soul won’t come until probably Friday, the start of the new tracking week, which will help stabilize the song within the Top 10 or push it to #1.

And yes, BP is one of her best songs, I do however think the first 20 seconds are wrongly used or placed. 

Honestly I wouldn’t care if they just sent Mama Tina to do all the promo for her.

I'd imagine there are more GP-oriented promotions coming, and that if for the FANS 6-weeks notice for an album seems like too long, that the GP attention span isn't going to last if she immediately did outright big promo at the start and made them wait? I duno maybe it would just make the album sell more for longer? but I can see the value in activating your fans first, letting that bolster your buzz and then really get to the GP who maybe heard about your new music but not have more than just a pre-order and a release date to consume and become engaged with.

 

Like if she promoted her mystery boxes on IG, what really would it serve? If you didn't already hear about it, you're probably not big enough of a fan to buy something you can't see yet.

 

The single has been only for just 1 week now. It's early yet.

I used to really dislike Yvette but Beyoncé is her employer, if she's not doing her job or might be doing it bad, it's all the boss' fault. 

I also do not put blame on anyone. 

This has been Bey since ST. I expected a tease roll out with big reveals each half week with content when the profiles were blanked and the cover nor the track list were revealed but that's on me. I'll just wait for the tour, they've never disappointed so far. 

I know we want more but come on it's been one week since the single was released. The meltdowns are a little much relative to the length of time that has elapsed since the song's release.

I'm bored, too. I think we got set up by that post saying we were "about to see what an album rollout is really like" Bc a single and then radio silence for a full week is really not the move. The excitement of the boxes and vinyls lasted about 30 seconds.

BMS better not be a buzz single, it’s hard enough organizing the hive to properly stream/purchase a single, the fact that we managed to make the song debut at #15 is a blessing, along with the fact we got radio on our side. She needs to stick with BMS, release the video, and let it do its thing

 

Plus, I don’t want to get spoiled for the rest of the songs, this was a nice teaser for even better tracks that will be on the album
