I'm bored, too. I think we got set up by that post saying we were "about to see what an album rollout is really like" Bc a single and then radio silence for a full week is really not the move. The excitement of the boxes and vinyls lasted about 30 seconds.

maybe this is why she should go back to the suprise releases or do what she did with Lemonade/TG...make the announcements 1-2 weeks in advance of the album release date

 

if yall thought she was going to hit up all the daytime & late night talk shows across the world for this 6 weeks then you thought wrong. what is even the point?? go back to the surprises. let the charthive lose their mind while the rest of us bop.

My last comment was half joking but Bey and her team have obviously had misfires and made mistakes that have hampered her potential success. This notion that her team is infallible is weird.

I get that it’s unrealistic to expect Bey to do more than she wants to do  or more than what feels natural to her, but we’re allowed to think she could do more.

I think people are just annoyed because people got hyped we’d be getting this massive rollout based on that one insta story

My biggest problem with her team is that they are all so damn oldschool. They take value in written articles, award shows, radio, reclusive release strategies... like damn, wake up. Its 2022, the industry has changed so much. Transparency and visibility are amongst the most important key aspects. Add to that access and communication and ur done.

 

This drop and leave bs they've been doing for years is tired and annoying
