I think she's trying to protect herself. She has insecurities like anyone else and being in the public eye since she was a teen has probably magnified it. She never got to grow up privately. I would have a nervous breakdown if people dissected every date I went on, every friend I had, every pound I gained.  Her peers (in terms of age) are pretty messed up due to public and private abuse. It's a miracle she's stayed as normal and sane as she is. 

 

I do think she's become out of touch and removed, but it's inevitable when you've been a millionaire+ since you were 18.

Gerrick Kennedy knew stuff about Lemonade before anyone else. Unfortunately, I think he's accurate. I just hope she's okay because more than the physical aspect, she's probably really freaked out that one injury could throw off an entire company responsible for the livelihood of hundreds of people.

Yep. He also seems close to camp Bey, like Yvette. 

 

I actually think he was permitted to share what he shared. I don't think people of his affiliation would go rogue and share something Team Bey wouldn't want out there.

 

In any case, while it's unfortunate and I hope she's ok, I do like that it's out there to reset some of the toxic convos/moaning of late.

This is so true! Still pressed we never got a gift tour or medley of any kind with full on choreo, but this little bit of excellence from the Arabic scales to the santeria gown was nice. We can’t be mad at her for paying tribute to a “flop” album for a $24M cheque. If anything she just got the last laugh, but yea TG had so much potential to vocally be recognized as one of her best works on a grander scale. So I’m glad we got this before going into Grammy season for some Rennie realness. It also probably helped her shake off any anxieties/nerves about performing after so many years sans the prerecorded performance she did for the Oscar’s, assuming she will perform.

she always had like 2-3 dance heavy songs & the rest were lightly choreographed
