She's currently trending with 211K tweets mere hours after the performance. All this for a private concert that we have only have phone content from. She can't keep winning like this, it gives her the excuse to act the way she does

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Those complaining about the complainers or those kissing ass are even more annoying :deadbanana2:

She came out of her cave, base should be happy but there is definitely a few that will just never be happy it seems.

Seriously. Making $24M in ONE hour and people losing their minds as if she performed at an awards show. Why would Beyoncé try harder at this point? she doesn't have to!

Mind you it’s been months since I’ve complained about the rollout, I’m just saying nobody likes to come into the base and feel like they’re being lectured by the “true fans” who never have anything bad to say :chick1:

It's reaction, and though it may come off "holier-than-thou" or whatever and probably annoying to receive, it's entirely due to the abundance of negative discourse day-in and day-out about how stupid she is, how her team knows nothing, etc. etc. And this is in a fan base. Many people come here to discuss her, her work, yes her strategies but it doesn't always have to be so negative. Disagree, critique, whatever, but a constant barrage of complaints rather than just accepting the fact that this is how it's going to be, apparently, is doing no one favours. It's annoying for those who don't necessarily feel extremely disheartened by a lack of promo or certain choices and deepening the unsettled feelings for those who do.

Not to mention, this base often treats her as badly as haters do in general threads, and pass it off as "I'm a fan so I can say this" when it's just exhibited entitled-ness.

Anyone saying that it's more annoying to complain about complainers has outlined the very issue in the first place. Complaining about something over and over is annoying. It's weird that people can only see it when it's returned to them.

this ***** is limping across the stage and y'all still complaining, calling people with some sense and emotional intelligence "teacher's pets"...

she's a human even if people wanna pretend she's a goddess sent from above to perform bops forever. she's not a machine. she's not required to report to fans every single detail of what she's working on. she doesn't need to share her medical history "to gain sympathy like Celine Dion".

please find something else to give you joy in life. you can't depend on Beyoncé to make you happy and then throw a tantrum when she doesn't do what you wanted. taking this parasocial relationship too damn serious.

she's a musician. she released her magnum opus. she's probably working on a doc, visuals, tour and whatever else at the moment. she's doing her job. maybe it's time for you to go on indeed.com and look for one.

ANYWAY

this performance looks so good and that Parkwood professional video with the firework intro is STUNNING. Cannot wait to (hopefully) see the full thing, or even just a few songs edited in. I've heard a few words about some of the transitions and that really excites me, so if anyone has some videos of them to share I'm interested, I don't think I saw any transitions but for the beginning of Countdown, which I love, as I am a huge fan of Arab pop and it was great to hear her play with those riffs like that in a way that isn't just the typical "Arab" stylings that American popstars might draw upon.

page 1700, the visuals and grammys will send us to 2000 easy

If she’s performing at the Scummys, there’s no way it hasn’t been finalized for months now :rip:

variety posts the exact same thing everytime she’s supposed to be at a big award show, those "talks" took place the moment the nominations came out they aren’t fooling anyone  :rip:

I hope her foot is okay and is close to being healed...the silver lining is that she got to just focus on the vocals and the results were so epic. I remember a quote where she said really her favourite thing to do as a performer is just to stand there and sing, and I always think of that when she delivers these kinds of performances.

I was watching the 1+1 on the piano from MCSWT recently and was hoping on the RENAISSANCE tour she'd carve out some time and some songs to just PLAY with her vocals a bit...I can't remember if there was ever that moment on FWT where she tended to adlib differently from night to night, also like Why Don't You Love me from MCSWT.

Mind you, my only point about labeling some of you as teacher’s pets is because a portion of this base acts like it’s their job to keep people complaining about the era “in line” and drag people who have complaints for being immature or fake stans or whatever. I personally don’t think the complaints about the era are that valid, I just think it’s clear that there’s been a lot of vitriol building up in here since the era was announced, and the desire to police people’s comments got old in August.

Also, I actually just signed a new job offer yesterday for when I finish grad school but thank you for the concern :chick1:

Beyoncé should get a residency in Dubai and force people to travel there to see her.  After tonight, i think they would give her a blank check to make that happen.
