It's reaction, and though it may come off "holier-than-thou" or whatever and probably annoying to receive, it's entirely due to the abundance of negative discourse day-in and day-out about how stupid she is, how her team knows nothing, etc. etc. And this is in a fan base. Many people come here to discuss her, her work, yes her strategies but it doesn't always have to be so negative. Disagree, critique, whatever, but a constant barrage of complaints rather than just accepting the fact that this is how it's going to be, apparently, is doing no one favours. It's annoying for those who don't necessarily feel extremely disheartened by a lack of promo or certain choices and deepening the unsettled feelings for those who do.

This is definitely valid, and I think you’re right that these things are reactive rather than proactive. To me, I just think it’s obvious that we’ve been doing the same song and dance since last summer with some folks whining about the rollout and some folks trying to silence any dissent. Obviously the whiners should have gotten it out their system by now, but to me, it’s also clear that trying to corral folks to have a certain viewpoint ain’t working either. Some folks are just gonna be pressed.

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

congrats boo! look at you being a teacher's pet and bagging another degree.

I went to class maybe 5 times last semester. I was too busy schooling life :gaycat1:

first and foremost i wanna say i hope Bey makes a swift and healthy recovery from her foot surgery, i need to get THAT out of the way cause yall may or may not drag me for what im about to say.

i am slightly worried for the RWT, if we go by what weve heard shes gonna start in may, if we combine the time she needs to heal and then rehearsals for the tour that gives us barely 3-4 months, Renaissance is most likely going to be her most physically demanding tour simply cause of how upbeat the album is and the fact that theres almost no space for ballads and less uptempo songs, im sure she'll make it work but this wont be a vibe tour like OTRII and i can genuinely see her outdoing the FWT.

if she needs to postpone it for later in the year or even next year, she should do it, tour tickets havent been announced and she should avoid further complications, in the meantime she could do a gig here, a gig there if shes capable (which she is if she dials back on the choreo) or she can just have her team promo tf out of her without her having to leave her house or even lift a finger.

anyways im excited with whats next for the era cause i keep seeing on twitter that yvette is teasing us again, if nothing happens i will continue with the yvette slander, might pull up on her and launch some keri hilson CD's while blasting HEATED (Keri's Version)

totally, but it's not as if the inverse isn't happening either: people simply trying to find the optimism in the moment or even enjoyment, posting these messages without addressing anyone else and others coming and poo-pooing it and taking it to a place of complaint, using it as a way to admonish Beyoncé when all we're trying to do is enjoy the era.

Anyway, we all can and should take breaks from this base and especially this forum. Stan culture is beautiful and it brings us together, but it can also be nasty and serve to make us bitter about things and towards others.

on another subject:

Hey everyone...remember that one year we had a BeyHive Awards ceremony. That produced video award ceremony was one of the funniest things.

Agreed, the tour can really wait. She could do europe North America and South America late summer/fall. And the rest of the tour next year. Or all of it next year, either way she needs to recover

This foot injury must been recent or during Dubai rehearsals. The usual recovery time is a few weeks, she will pull thru.

Anyway Leonie Hanne’s post of DIL already has 3 million views and 500K likes

When her streaming numbers go up by 300%, Cuff it returns to the Top 10, with a resurgence of ST on Spotify, her album tracks blow up and Renaissance becomes the highest selling album of 2023 all because of a private performance we have a 20~ second HD clip of and a bunch of nokia quality videos

I can’t even look at the videos of her limping, you get so used to her always being at 100% and everything going great, makes me feel so bad:monkey: I’m sure it’s killing her inside as well knowing she can’t give her all. Regardless this was still an amazing performance and I am even more hyped for the tour.

she'll be fine, i could barely tell she was limping :michael:

I saw there's another one with 1M views and 100K like.

Her strength was never streaming or hit single, but a LIVE PERFORMANCE.

Also, she's doing the Countdown runs. She knows the Tik Tok community loves it.

Baby, if I replay one more of those Drunk in Love closing clips, I’ll fracture both my thumbs. Whoever’s idea that arrangement and choice to make as a closer is sick and TWISTED. :cold2::cold2::cold2:

I don’t care how viral those videos end up becoming. She can’t not use that to close out the upcoming shows. :skull: I’m going to need to experience that in real-time.

im already thinking of how she can integrate that into summer renaissance and have the greatest closer ever :alexz:

I’m sad she’s hurt, but to me it just makes her even more impressive.

you guys can call me delusional but that drunk in love video it kinda looks like she’s just doing a stepping motion to the beat, it’s kind of too short to really tell :coffee:

i don't doubt she's had surgery but yeah I think leaps were made
