Odd to see how many kinda just passed over this as if it's not the most insider insight we've had in a minute.

 

We all have an appetite for the visuals and for behind the scenes look into her process and now we know she had 7 sound stage set up and was shooting videos simultaneously (which is kind of incredible/insane). Plus the doc + the tea that the album was supposed to drop last year around her birthday (as we all speculated around that time).

 

I totally get the frustration about the hold back, but to still see some going on about no videos and even saying they don't believe there's a doc (just out of frustration) when we have multiple sources to the contrary is so weird to me.

 

I'm hyped for it all: the videos (which are more likely than not dropping imminently), the doc, the other acts, and everything else.

No its not, she had 3 years to work on that. We really need to stop putting her on such a pedastal when the average Joe works 8 hours per day 6 times a week.

It's been 2 months since the start of the era and we had no visuals whatsoever. We are already in outrageous territory.

 

No BMS video? Fine, it's a visual album they will come altogether with the album release.

 

No videos on album release? Fine, she wants us to enjoy the music first.

 

1 month after the album release and there is no sign of a release date for any video. And she's not giving us anything else either like performances or bts. Imagine having to wait yet ANOTHER month for the videos while watching her vacation in Europe

The reason I'm personally jarred by all the noise is that I am pretty frank / fair / objective when it comes to Bey. Wasn't here for OTRII (instead a solo tour), EIL, Top Off, Be Alive underwhelmed, and releasing BIK a YEAR after TG was a...choice. Definitely not a "yes person" when it comes to her. She deserves a wig shift when she deserves it.

 

My thing is I struggle with irrationality or talking just to...talk. 

 

Day in and day out there's moaning about the existence of videos we've literally had a trailer for. People are saying they don't believe there's a doc, when multiple sources are not only confirming it but actually providing details. At some point, surely it becomes talking just to...talk. 

 

In fairness, it figures that "not knowing" or not having definitive dates yet can bring about annoyance / irritation. It's just that we can see things happening or at least are getting behind the scenes tea incrementally that lets us know ish is happening and people are bypassing that to still...talk.

It seems like it started off about the Making of Ren and her life around that. Now, it feels like it'll encompass much more.

She could drop it all today and it’d still be ridiculous to have waited this long.
 

Luckily the music is A1 so I forget about the film/video situation, until I log in here anyway.

Same here

The album and songs are doing well though. You guys' are stressing over nothing. We know AS will have visuals & that'd be the best time to push it as a single. In the meantime its doing well organically, as is the album. No shade but go outside, touch grass.. enjoy the album in a club and be excited for all the content on its way.

Yvette needs to be fired. Hire her mom instead. Lord knows she only listen to her mom or else her ass is gonna get smacked. 

Beyond looking forward to the later acts, my only major hope is that the visual album is ambitious and actual great film making

Despite how I feel about Alien, they needa go ahead and push it as a single.

Isn't  Yvette a PR person?  If so PR is not the same as Marketing/promotion

It makes absolutely no sense to not push a second single now. Waiting another month for a possible video to wait? Nah

BMS is being dropped on radio while we speak (and severely at that). What's there to wait for? 
Anounce it as single #2, send it to radio, buy some placements on some playlists on Spotify/AM, and let them do the magic. It'll probably increase to ~1.5-1.8 mio streams then, gain in points, and just when it starts to really steamroll, release the MV to push it further. It would peak in October then and could be a wonderful smash around Halloween. What's so difficult to manage that?

And all of that can happen whether its announced as single today or in 3 weeks.
