Honestly, I feel Bey could do WAY better with her tour openers (at least in Europe). She will make us PAY, there's no no reason to not give us a proper tour opener.

Yeah, her tour openers have been lackluster and self-serving so far. ChloexHalle and DJ khaled were just to pour money back into Parkwood and Roc Nation, which I respect, but she's such a huge artist she could have some relatively big names warming up the crowd beforehand.

 

All three shows of FWT I went to, the friends I brought - this site would call them the GP - were bored the entire opening. She's Beyonce; she could be getting great openers.

Social media ruins everything. Adele stanned Lemonade then had to wear a lemon pin to the GRAMMYs and break her award in half when she lost to try to avoid getting roasted online. I think people are wary of getting burned.

 

this album is just like.... SO good. TOO good. How DARE she slay me this hard.

 

It's like I keep re-discovering the song in a new way, with a new vibe and tone than the last time.. so many hidden layers that just change things. idk. I'm a little drunk so I'm not sure if I'm making sense. But no album has had me in this much of a chokehold one month later before and I've played it so much I should be sick of it but I can't stop. This alone should have taken more then 3 years (counting from The Gift) to make, the fact that she maybe made 3 albums in that time and one of them is this good... I can't.

This is one of the weirdest things Ive seen people complain about ever  

Whether there are opening acts or not, the headliner doesn’t get on stage until their call time which is usually 9:00pm.

Given that doors open at 5pm and fans need to come early because of traffic, having openers is always a nice bonus. I remember OTR1 didn’t have anything. We all sat there for 3 hours, bored out of our minds. That really affects the overall experience for the ticket holder especially when they are not stans (which is the majority of the stadium) 

Even if you don’t know the opening act, 99% of the time, it’s going to be a fun experience. Ive been to shows where after leaving, I added the openers to my library

These new artists just don’t know how to give a performance it’s so sad just completely lifeless, no flavor, no engagement why would you ever bother to see them live?

 

Every day I cherish that we stan the greatest living entertainer, every performance feels like I’m ascending she just knows how to captivate people.

Every time I play the album from a new device/outlet I discover new things. Heck I remember when I first played it at low volume, I discovered new adlibs, runs, sounds etc… 

Didn't watch the VMA's

 

I really want Beyoncé out and about but she's still not in snatched mode yet. Something about this era just feels off. Still enjoying the music though.

Adele is too busy playing sad and heartbroken over her residency she won’t dare showing up happy

Back in the crib from attending Bad Bunny’s show. I heard the VMAs was such a nonevent. I’m glad Bey didn’t perform.

I’m not even gonna lie to y’all I put on Paramount + and thought I was watching the 2022 VMAs up until Halle came out and announced Chloe. Then I realized I was watching last years show(which I also watched last year)  

 

I’ll admit I wanted something from Bey tonight but my god what a tragic event the VMAs have become in recent times. I couldn’t care less right now that she paid it dust. Truth be told, Bey can acquire the same amount of attention, if not more, without the plug of the VMAs.

The way the album will be in the lower half of next weeks Top10 already.

 

She really is letting this album and its songs die like that while vacationing during what should have been her album rollout.
