I think Halle is going to be much more successful at the end, you can bookmark me. Her image and how she presents herself in interviews and cover videos seem way more authentic to who she really is and that is the point.

Lemonade getting less streams than every single studio album.. a tragedy what she did to that album.  It's also really weird her catalog doesn't get a boost from Renaissance.

Yup and Disney seem to be more interested in Halle too. Perhaps Chloe noticed and that's why she's been acting so weird since. She was NOT so over the top before and most of her behavior seems forced, not authentic at all.

I think it's just because everyone can't stop listening to Renaissance so it's kinda cannibalising her other albums. I know this is certainly true for me and most other people here have said the same thing - that they're barely gone back to the previous albums since July 29.

For me the rollout has been good. IF people want to hear the music, it is widely available. So the people who care  is there already, why insisting so much in trying to convince people into listening to her stuff? She already has the classics, the acclaim, the money, the awards, the public recognition, the tour attendance and the popular culture impact. She could retire and it would make sense. She has kids now and most of her peers are not doing anything relevant, but she’s still playing top of the game. Two more albums are coming in a short period of time, visuals for each part are coming too, a huge stadium tour is also likely coming, and so are a documentary and performances. We’re likely getting everything most stans would kill for, who cares if she does it before of after? She might not reach the same audience? Okay. Again, whoever cares about her CAN hear the album and be a part of whatever is coming.

The documentary is also something I heard about from a friend who's been very reliable in the past. All I know about it is that it was meant to be released about a year ago around her birthday (followed by a singular album later in Sept), and around the end of August, her entire plan for B7 shifted to a multi-album project. So that part of his tea ended up being true. That's why I'm not sure how that documentary has changed since its original version. And even with the original B7 being a singular album plan, she had not filmed visuals for that version of the album. So the plan to lead with the music isn't a last-minute thing. Don't know too much more than this, sadly.

Why are people so stuck on Spotify numbers only? is it because they are the only ones displaying the numbers? lol. Apple Music seem to be the place many people go to listen to Bey's projects. Apple wont display their numbers but i'm sure she is doing VERY well over there also and even if that wont have effect on the charts that much, she is still getting her profit from those streams. Same for Amazon, Tidal etc... 

 

Fans need to stop being so narrow minded. Dont just focus on what's too obvious. Spotify is a vanity machine for labels. Apple and Tidal pay these artists way more too.

That makes sense. I haven't touched the rest of her discography in a month as Renny has been on repeat. Idk it's very hard to now because it just eclipses everything in terms of quality.

The silence is SO deafening. I don't even know if this 'rollout' is going to eventuate at this point. So incredibly frustrating as a fan to see her fumble the bag time and time again. We should've at the very least had a trailer or announcement by now.

If we stop worrying about it there’s less disappointments.
