Well they could've easily expected to be done applying the changes on time, but then found themselves needing more time.

 

It's the biggest week of the year which is enough to believe they'd want to post about it as soon as possible. And the person who is in charge of writing the weekly column has literally been tweeting about the AMAs all day so I don't think he has the final numbers yet.

 

I would guess Nielsen is still finishing with counting Taylor's numbers, or the formula has them still working on the entirety of the charts.

 

They published Adele's numbers on time so I don't think it has to do with counting Taylor's numbers. Thus the formula is my main guess

Yeah. Increasing first week sales with 6 albums in a row happens really all the time. Laughable that Taylor couldnt do it
