  1. Chiming in from both sides — Alcoholism is real and a struggle to deal with. As someone who's been a year sober, I'm proud to have gone through steps to detach and find ways to navigate through finding activities that yield in positive interactions. It isn't easy to navigate to sobriety, but it is doable. On the other hand, when you're including other lives in your alcoholism, there has to be a point where you have about 10-20 seconds to ask yourself "do I want to harm someone else?" It's one thing to go through your alcoholism alone, but when you're putting yourself on the road while intoxicated, you're putting yourself and others at risk. I really hope this suspension gives him the time to reflect and get the help that he needs.
  2. I cried so hard yesterday because I was already grieving Aaliyah's 25th anniversary. RIP Dolly. I'm still so in shock.
  3. Ugh "All I Need" is such a classic. 😢
  4. One of my favorite live performances from her. This was when TRL did spring break and her video was at #3 on the countdown. I really miss her.
  5. The untimely death of Aaliyah left a lot of people in shock and grief on this day 25 years ago. This thread is just to memorialize her and for you all to share your favorite songs/performances/moments of her. Thank you. Here's my favorite song of hers:

This is about to be the most random post in this thread but .. I feel like ME! was released at the perfect time because it was really released during Taurus season, and i feel like that's how a lot of us think mentally 🫢 don't get me wrong — LOVE the song (I'm a Taurus - May 6). Just personally thought the song exhibited Taurus traits/ ok that's all. Thanks bye 🏃‍♂️

  8. As Duane "Keefe D" Davis prepares to stand trial for the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, testimony from a retired law enforcement official has brought one of the case's most explosive—and long-disputed—allegations back into focus. Retired detective Daryn Dupree testified about previous conversations investigators allegedly had with Davis, including claims involving Sean "Diddy" Combs and an alleged payment connected to Shakur's killing. According to Dupree, investigators were initially speaking with Davis about the 1997 murder of Christopher "The Notorious B.I.G." Wallace when Davis began offering information concerning Tupac's death. During those conversations, Dupree says Davis alleged that Combs had offered money to have Shakur killed. 9. To be fair - it was nominated for Best R&B Song and she was supposed to perform it there.
  10. I love the fact that KIB keeps trying to claw its way back to the public because it should have been a smash standout from the ANTi era.
  11. Justice for "Dirty Laundry" because this song still makes me tear up to this day.
