Why is this song getting so much hate? It's pretty good in my opinion. She tends to release the best songs around this time of the year. But that's just me.

This TEA For me, "Escapade" will always be that #1 girl. Closely followed by "Alright." To be honest, every song told a story and was visually stunning. Even "Black Cat" (which was just a tour video ).

If you think about it, "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" was a hint at the janet. era due to the nature of the song and her video wardrobe.

Can't say much more because of my emotional state — but this song gets me through a lot, especially today which would have been my dad's 62nd birthday. He was murdered in 2016 and the killer's still on the loose. I'm mad but I push through. Happy birthday, breathin.

So my dad was murdered November 2016. His birthday is tomorrow. One of my favorite song was released on September 18, 2018. So I am not ok. The killer(s) has/have not still been found. I'm trying to hold but it's taking everything in me to not snap.

The fact this was not released as an official single is tragic. Not saying if it would have done better or less than the other singles from the album, but i feel like was a missed opportunity. So much vulnerability expressed here in this song. Edit: when she says "my baby's fly like a jet stream," i grin because im a former meteorologist. She really has a ways with words because they really pulled me in.
