Mainstream artists don't seem to do features anymore

It's weird to think there are millions of people out there who would turn down a vaccine even if they were dying of cancer Purely because they disagree with vaccines

This album is great. I wish it had high highs, but I still really enjoy listening to it. As a whole though, it's her best album

One of the last mainstream pop eras that didn't feel like payola/their team made it huge. Felt like a genuine smash era and really made her a superstar

How so? Everyone accepts white people who aren't pretty making pop music. Eg: Lorde, Gaga, Lewis Capaldi, Florence Welch, Tove Lo. She isn't doing anything new just because she isn't pretty. She is still a wealthy, accepted, white girl making music derived from Taylor. If Beyoncé were the same level of conventionally attractive as Audrey (or the others I just mentioned), she would not have a platform. Can't believe anyone would even view her as an anti-pop star

Yes, but it would be taken to the next level with a few great televised performances and if the tour is amazing

She isn't an anti pop star. She's a wealthy white girl making generic (yet decent) pop music. We've seen this 1000 times Just because she isn't pretty, it doesn't mean she's an unlikely pop star

Hate campaigns are fake these days to make an artist go viral and get sympathy. Sombr's team is doing this too right now Underdog arc makes people want to support an artist more

Yeah, maybe it's just my personal preference IDK. It just doesn't sound the same to me. In older performances, her vocals felt more dynamic, and it just doesn't feel that way to me now The last time I liked the way her voice sounded was WCBF on SNL pre-chorus here: Her tone seems nicer, and her voice seems brighter than it sounds now (but even at the time of this performance, it had been a while since I had liked the way her voice sounded in a performance)

Surprisingly, there have only been a handful of times when I've enjoyed her live vocals. (Which I don't get, as she sounds great when she shows her raw studio vocals in the booth) In the past, she was often extremely out of breath all of the time onstage, and these days he voice seems lower effort/weaker

True crime content has rotted people's brains I hate how so many people are saying they hope her boyfriend didn't murder her, but they secretly hope he did because they'd love the drama and talking point of it

Very good point. Songs doing this is really rare these days. Even hits by actual stars still somehow feel faceless

Probably just saying this for sympathy (and it validates poor people who want to believe that no stars are rich). Doubt she'd do 100+ shows without big profits

Even if the world changes for the better, I'll never believe anyone who says they're left/progressive again because I'll just think they'll re-flip when the trends change
