Well I work at MetLife (aka New York New Jersey Stadium ) and they are barely tipping (if at all). I'm a bartender there — usually making a good amount during concert and NFL seasons. FIFA brings in a lot of international crowds, so we expected tipping to be on the lower side. I don't believe the stadium can impose a mandatory gratuity but they've certainly raised prices temporarily (for example, a 16oz Stella is usually $15; they raised the price to $18 ). I can't speak for the entirety of food and beverage service workers because I don't rely on that income alone.
