Can't say much more because of my emotional state — but this song gets me through a lot, especially today which would have been my dad's 62nd birthday. He was murdered in 2016 and the killer's still on the loose. I'm mad but I push through. Happy birthday, breathin.

So my dad was murdered November 2016. His birthday is tomorrow. One of my favorite song was released on September 18, 2018. So I am not ok. The killer(s) has/have not still been found. I'm trying to hold but it's taking everything in me to not snap.

The fact this was not released as an official single is tragic. Not saying if it would have done better or less than the other singles from the album, but i feel like was a missed opportunity. She really has a ways with words because they really pulled me in.

Chiming in from both sides — Alcoholism is real and a struggle to deal with. As someone who's been a year sober, I'm proud to have gone through steps to detach and find ways to navigate through finding activities that yield in positive interactions. It isn't easy to navigate to sobriety, but it is doable. On the other hand, when you're including other lives in your alcoholism, there has to be a point where you have about 10-20 seconds to ask yourself "do I want to harm someone else?" It's one thing to go through your alcoholism alone, but when you're putting yourself on the road while intoxicated, you're putting yourself and others at risk. I really hope this suspension gives him the time to reflect and get the help that he needs.
