"Reputation" will probably rank at #9.

I'll update the list with "Reputation" when we get the official Soundscan numbers from Billboard.

Well..she was smart in doing the two-magazine thing cause she prob wouldn't have sold 1m w/o it

So she sold 550k after the first day? Pretty frontloaded

:deadbanana: she just outsold the best-selling album of 2017 by 400k in a week

Let's be honest with your gay selves, anything above 1 million is phenomenal. She outsold everyone  with 4 days of sales.

This is her Born This Way. A successful era, but the beginning of the downfall.

HOLY For It being performed constantly is this eras last hope :weeps:

This is said literally every time she releases.

Abandoning country = beginning of downfall

Kim/Kanye = she's over!

Selling 1.3M in 2017 = frontloaded mess! beginning of her downfall!

Y'all never learn :lmao:

Her fanbase is getting larger and larger, and there's no evidence to the contrary.

Now, the singles aren't being as well received by the GP as she probably would like, but I don't see any case for her being on a "downfall."

Except this is the first time since Speak Now (2010) that her lead single under-performs and she fails to dominate the iTunes top 10 like she usually does.

The only thing bad about BTW is that gaga was bigger than Taylor used to be and that she was 3 years into her career

After 6 albums and 13 years in the industry at least (by her next release), it wouldnt be bad at all

Relax.

This is admittedly impressive. But I firmly believe that one era trades on the quality/success of the last. I don't think that the singles' reception this era bodes well for the next album.

You mean like 'Speak Now' era killed 'Red' era? :rip:

She went #1 for 3 weeks. I think she's doing alright :lmao: She's also playing an exclusive stadium tour that's probably going to challenge Madonna for the biggest female tour of all-time.

Her next album will probably decline in pure sales but she'll still remain easily above everyone else bar Adele.

It was technically impossible to dominate the Top 10 as all album tracks besides the 4 already released were album-only during the first week. They were only released as individual downloads today!

This, and also, none of the songs are available in streaming, which is arguably the biggest component of the Top 10 right now.

He meant the iTunes Top 10 i think!

So are you saying she will be all over the iTunes top 10 tomorrow morn? Cuz her other eras had no problem doing this even her bonus tracks went top 10 as soon as they were made available on iTunes.

Streaming this masterpiece is the only way to ensure longevity, success, and beauty, girlies! Get to it

Maybe they meant WW?

2m is too high for her.  She might hit 1.7m WW.  1.6-1.65m is more likely since she's just over ~1.5m with 1.267m US (HDD... final Billboard # could be higher) + 84,000 UK + 65,000 CA (through four days) + 37k Japan + ~50k WW TEAs & SEAs.

The anglosphere + Japan are her bread and butter.  She won't put up similarly impressive numbers, even relative to market sizes, from the rest of Europe: she's debuting #2 Germany, #11 France (assumed), #2 Sweden, #3 Italy, #9 Belgium (Wallonia), etc.  She'll pull solid numbers in AU ofc, as well as NZ & IE (but they're small), and perform decently in Mexico/Brazil.

You people are such cranks.  Why bother calculating today's climate sales to years ago or saying it's front loaded.

Point of the matter is, she outsold all our flop faves in a week and you'll just have to get the **** over it.

Tis' true

We still have to wait for Billboard's numbers because apparently they are more accurate and they do tend to be a bit higher!
