Prior to the WW displacement, Argentina's population was under 2M. After it, it was nearly 6M. That's what affected the participation rate of each ethnicity.

It is also very ignorant from you to compare Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia since they were not part of the same colony, even if they were also colonized by Spain, and had different colonial economies that did require slave labor unlike the cattle raising in Argentina. Let me break them down for you: Colombia: Gold mining and Sugar plantations, which were labor intensive. Cartagena was also one of Spain main slave ports. Venezuela: Cacao, sugar and later coffee plantations. Colombia: Sugar and Cacao plantations and gold mining. There were also textile estates. Bolivia: Silver mining and plantations in the Yunga area (which remained isolated for many years, preventing mixing).
