Let me break them down for you: Colombia: Gold mining and Sugar plantations, which were labor intensive. Cartagena was also one of Spain main slave ports. Venezuela: Cacao, sugar and later coffee plantations. Colombia: Sugar and Cacao plantations and gold mining. There were also textile estates. Bolivia: Silver mining and plantations in the Yunga area (which remained isolated for many years, preventing mixing). The Colonizers (Spain) only brought 40-70K slaves to what was known as El Virreinato del Rio De La Plata (nowadays Argentina/Uruguay/Paraguay), whereas the UK and Portugal shipped to USA and Brazil around 390-450K and 4.8-5.5M slaves respectively. This was due to Spain using the colonies for cattle raising vs. plantation, with the former requiring far less workers.
