No it doesn't. A huge % of her debut's SPS is TEA as all the singles were multi million sellers with weak streams to date. It's her 6th era and there's absolutely no way to turn it around, you can't ignore FEARLESS her second biggest era and her debut & Speak Now when despite not having pop singles they crossed over  She managed to have 6 HUGE eras while most of the others were declining or were done by then.

And yet they still sell millions overall, so what's the problem exactly? No one but Adele is beating that in this day and age. 

 

Stan logic:

 

Album A: Sells 1 million first week, 4 million overall. 25% sold first week. A frontloaded MESS.

Album B: Sells 1 copies first week, 100 copies overall. Only 1% sold first week. I'm so glad I stan for the QUEEN OF LONGEVITY.

When will you all get it through your thick skulls that Taylor has been around for 11 years now...? Many of her teenage fans from her debut + Fearless have grown up and are now pushing 25, 30 years old  I know that's a hard concept to grasp when many of ATRL's faves burned out after 4 years or so. 

 

This is what stans don't understand about Taylor's consistent 1m openings and healthy album sales, in spite of the market. Once someone becomes a Taylor fan, they stick with her, even as they grow up or as Taylor switched from country to pop. And she keeps adding new fans with each era. She just has that effect on people. At this point, I won't be surprised if her next album debuts with 1m too.

This whole "FRONTLOADED!1!1!1" banter is beyond IDIOTIC and shows the insecurity of many of these stans whose fave sells a total 500K - 700K (IF even that) over a course of 2 or more years.

 

Like, someone who is selling 1+ million copies in the first week and will prolly end up selling somewhere around 3 to 4 million copies overall is being laughed at, while they go around praising their faves who sell 100K first week and then 500K+ in the end with "AHHHHH MY QUEEN OF LONGEVITY & her GOLD CERT.!1!1!1!1"
