reading through the first few pages of this thread and I still think a lot of you are doing a bit much on Showgirl to this day… it's like you completely forgo the fact that what really shines on that album are the melodies and not the lyrics, which pushes further my point I always bring up that Taylor is a better and more consistent melodist at her best than she is a lyricist. wish more could agree with me on that but oh welllll
