I'm not saying that this is definitely what happened... but does anyone else think the timing sure was convenient? After all, they've been friends ever since Taylor dropped OG Red and have had multiple collabs over the years. We went from what seemed to be a Patient Zero single release to yk what... the next day here's a whole "encore"/deluxe edition 1 week before the anniversary of the album...which was announced a couple days before its release. Her release would draw lots of attention...especially for the original TLOAS album met somewhere in the middle by critics. How would she garner even more attention? Well...not an acclaimed Taylor album, as she has plenty of those under her belt. How about something on the other end of the stick? That'll really get the people talking about other things. This is purely speculation btw! but I think it'd make sense. What are your thoughts?
