HSM was huge too but they were huge as a group, HM/Miley was huge and competing in the charts with real main pop girls like taylor swift and k*ty p*rry etc back in 2006-2010

I don't know Zac Efron was pretty huge as well. Sure there's the difference that Disney MILKED the hell out of Hannah Montana with way more merchandise to accompany the franchise, but Miley was nothing more than a super popular teen star and the 2000s were rife with those. So yes, we can compare Miley to Zac Efron, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and the other teenage stars from that era who were popular. In fact it's a good comparison because it shows that for a lot of these stars, their characters on the shows or films they starred in ended up being more popular than these actors themselves. Zac Efron will never be more popular than Troy Bolton, in the same way Miley Cyrus will never be as popular as Hannah Montana was, even though she had a better chance with Bangerz and Flowers. But to say that Miley is a legend comparable to Madonna based off of her character with Hannah Montana is almost as preposterous as saying Daniel Radcliffe is a legend comparable to Meryl Streep because of his role as Harry Porter. Like let's be serious

Because she does not deserve any lashings. Always loved Miley, she never did any bad to any of her colleagues or manipulated charts, sales etc. Also she grew up in front of our eyes. She gave us incredible live performances, also together with Dolly. I always loved her music, who cares about numbers nowadays!? Oh, only one I can think of.
