Their music videos are not worthy of this award imo

Deserved

Um They could have given this at any point in the '90s or 2000s.

Lol the whiplash going from "Madonna is getting the Video Vanguard for the second time!" to.......NIRVANA?????....

Nirv- um okay then.

This only means Ally Brooke still have a chance then

you know the music industry is in crisis when they start recognizing underrated acts

As a Nirvana fan, this is so stupid

Also, they only have like 5 videos lol

mess. why do they still do this

This feels very random considering who was being speculated, but alright!

Oh girl pls

They should've done this in 1995 when I wasn't born yet

Poor MaDonna

oh I know what they're trying to do

LEGENDS, so deserved

They awarding dead people over Xtina

Miley hasn't booked anything for this era, has she?

For a THIRD TIME, not for the SECOND one.

UPD: She has only one Vanguard.

• 1986 (basically in forth year after her first nomination)

• 1999 (I was sure it was an second Vanguard award moment)

This, legendary discography but no videography at all

I guess Miley's label saw BP's preliminary chart performance and decided to cancel Vanguard. They don't want to repeat Katy's 143 situation.

Nirvana doesn't have many videos, but the few they have are iconic.

Sis I was so confused

OT: That Madonna drag queen video is more iconic than any music video by Nirvana
