They saw her as R&B only and seemed to only release a pop song here and there to appease her. But she never got huge platforms to promote those songs on

Bionic tbh. Ciara got next to no label support, and it was released after a previous album that was sabotaged by the same label, thus she flopped. She also has RIDE from that era, which is an 2010's R&B classic if nothing else. Christina had big promo; a decent budget and bombed on a bigger scale. So like… lol Maybe fantasy ride vs Bionic would've been a more apt comparison. but I think that would win over bionic as well considering it has a top 10
