I love Work ***** and the other PROPER Britney songs on BJ, but that album and era truly is a STAIN on her legacy and I blame the c-ship for it

Dick Dick Boom alone is better than all of 143.

Even using Suno would be more soulful than Britney Jean.

Britney Jean at least has "Perfume", an underrated pop ballad and the one song where Britney is actually singing the whole thing, so at least she chose the best one to tell Myah Marie to piss off.

143 has nothing redeeming. Britney still got moderate hits and tons of other career success after BJ, Katy is like the white Lizzo and is forever famous but will never be taken seriously in music ever again.

WORK ***** is better than all of 143

143 is the most damaging to a legacy. Glory still did pretty well for it to come 3 years afterwards.

i will say though that BJ was more soulless. Britney didnt touch that album with a 50 foot pole. she was pretty much forced into doing the album under the circumstances she was in. Katy wanted to do whatever 143 came out to be lol

Body Ache, Till It's Gone, Work *****, Hold Tite, Now That I Found You… at the very worst you can turn your brain out and enjoy this album during a workout. The same cannot be said about 143 which has like no redeeming songs.

Katy is on both so she loses anyway
