Do you think Rihanna actually took part in writing all of the songs for Anti?
Rihanna has a writing credit on every single song on anti, except for that Tame Impala karaoke, which is rather interesting given that she never took part in writing a song in her life before this record. She even has a writing credit on this song which is literally just an interpolation of a Florence track! This has led many to believe those credits are actually fraudulent and the label slapped those credits to make Rihanna seem more credible as an artist. Do you believe in this theory or do you actually think she had a major role in creating all of those songs ?

fantastic albums that were dragged down by the deluxe?
And the fact that they gave Rihanna a writing credit for that Florence interpolation really showed how the entire Anti album was just a ploy by the record label to give people the illusion that Rihanna is more involved with the creation process than she actually is I'm actually surprised they didn't give her a writing credit for that Kevin Parker karaoke song too.

Sonically, Gaga played it safe in the late 2010's while Katy took risks. Why?
I guess you could call releasing bad music risky

The Mayhem deluxe version genuinely brought the album down from a 8/10 to a 6/10 for me. I don't like any of those deluxe songs at all, and Dead Dance is a bottom 5 discography song.

Neither are good but TTPD is one of the worst albums of all time so petal wins easily.

Should Taylor make an electronic-country/folktronica record next?
Taylor has explored both synthpop and folk/country separately before, but would you like to hear her attempt to combine the two on one record? something like Madonna's Music or American Life. Could Taylor pull it off? I Knew You Were Trouble is the closest she came to that sound and it's one of her best bops

Physical and Into You are the weakest by far. The other three are excellent.

Why was Lorde's "Royals" considered such a turning point for pop music?
What's there to be jealous of? Born to Die alone gets more recurrent daily streams than Lorde's entire combined catalog. And the little Lordies only get a new album every 5 years and the result is garbage like Solar Power and Virgin I'd have unstanned long ago if she was my fav.

Why was Lorde's "Royals" considered such a turning point for pop music?
Imagine saying this with a straight face when Wildest Dreams from 1989 is a direct copy of a Lana song

Why was Lorde's "Royals" considered such a turning point for pop music?
Replace everything you just said about Lorde and Royals with Lana and Born to Die and the answer will be yes. Royals was a flash in the pan quick little hit that had no longstanding impact.
