I'm obsessed with this album.

So enjoyable. So much replay value.

Unstoppable.

I really enjoy this album!

Such a gorgeous soundscape it's so much to take in. I'm on my third listen and wow it is such a feast to delve into. A quick blurb about each track hard to put it into words.

The garden prelude doesn't do much in ways of introducing the album or "setting the stage" I hear elements of the various songs through out of it and lyrics of the various songs but it doesn't flow into ICGUTT as well as it could.

ICGUTT sounds so much better in context with the rest of the album. I do enjoy it as an opening track it does a good job of setting the tone and expectations for the rest of the album.

Superbloom is such a glorious title track and kind feels like a counterpart to RWYA. Maybe it's mostly due to the fact that both songs use the Lyrics Rise and Fall and both have melodies and productions that rise and fall so beautifully and captivatingly.

Automatic is my favorite of the prerelease songs. It's so bright and airy and feel good. I love the instrumental break with the flute solo. I really wish it had gotten a video. It deserves a video of her in a beautiful 70's diva outfit while well dressed dancers dance around her. Now hearing the end of the track and how it flows into Chariots I'm now longer bothered by how it ends.

I really do like the flow of Automatic - Chariots of Love Interlude - Sauna. Chariots beautifully bridges the gap from the fizzy and airy love song to the hotter heavier song drenched in lust and desire.

Sauna - OH it's so sexy the synth on this track is great. It's fun to get some of the dark synth reminiscent of WYP with the stronger more prominent vocals. It's fun to learn that Låpsley is a cowrite for this track (she needs to give us another Mr. Operator (Dj Koze mix)

Mr. Valentine is going to be a favorite. It belongs in the same realm as Ooh La La and Shake The Bottle. It's camp and fun and has this very Donna Summer's "Bad Girls" quality to it with the "Uh-huh okay" "all the way up up up" "oh oh oh oh ah" chants/repetition. I also really love the percussion on this and how the track constantly evolving and devolving at the same time.

Love You For is such a beautiful track and a nice return to the saccharine soul tinged disco found in the first three tracks of the album. Absolutely beautiful arrangement from her vocal arrangements the backing vocals and the instrumental arrangements. Just impeccable, simply divine.

Ride, what an addictive base/synth line. It's such a silly and fun track. It's so funny to me it causes such a visceral hatred by a handful of people. The sample is cheesy but what's life without a little fun?

Don't You Know Who I Am? A CAMP DIVA CLASSIC Gives me a bit of Barry Manilow. It's funny she says its feels Bond like to her I don't quite hear that.

16 Summers is such a classic diva bar/piano ballad.

No Consequences. I love the baseline and the soul groove this whole track has. She does such a beautiful job with it and her insanely powerful yet controlled vocals. love the fever pitch it builds into then how it releases.

Mon Amour - A great closer just makes you wanna get out on the dance floor and dance in rapturous joy.

Again a very strong offering for Jessie and a perfect closer for the disco trilogy. She really has a very good sense of self and artistry her discography is very consistent in quality while building its diversity in a very steady manner. If she choose to go more modern dance next album i hope she gives us some Diva house tracks and maybe some Dee-Lite vibes. For now I'm going to Dance Joyfully in the Gardens of Jessie's Superbloom.

No Consequences is a career highlight. It's so epic, and she just sounds like a master of her craft.

It's so expansive.

I haven't been clued in this era as much as her recent ones but I sat down with this album WFH and it really hit.

I hope she does a proper AUS tour this era, her set at Summer Camp (RIP) a few years back was incredible.

Do you think she might add some more dates to tour?

I agree about the intro track ...what was the point if it's gonna transition do jarringly into the next track?

I feel it's her most expensive sound in terms of production! I gave many spins and I feel that Sauna, Love You For and No Consequences are my personal highlights! I love also how different her voice sounds on Don't You Know Who I Am? She sounds more raw and I LOVE it! Ride still feels like a great single, but it feels a little different than the rest of the album imo. I think we can all agree that Sauna needs to be the next single.

Jessie went into some record shops in Soho, London to sign some vinyl. Both the black and blue pressings.

I picked up a blue pressing one. Really cool to have a signed one where the signature is actually on the sleeve.

If you're in London and you want one, go to Soho asap.

I got mine from Phonica Records. They had around 8-10 copies I reckon.

As expected the album is amazing, she never fails to deliver, as for the complains about her doing the same genre of previous records, this album is still very different from both T!FG! and WsYP?, totally different vibe and tone.

I still wish 'Ride' would have went viral, she deserves a mainstream success-recognition.

16 Summers is very Barbra Streisand, love it.

This is a stunning listen

All of No Consequences, but esp the outro, is such a stunner. Like idk if she's ever had a more majestic moment of release in her discography... maybe Champagne Problems, SIML, RIWA.. but still, wow

This is such a good album, what a shame there doesn't seem to be any hype around it, I fear it might do worse than Glasshouse and makes her fall out of love with music again.

I agree, such a stellar album but absolutely mishandled promotion of it. I even talked to people who knows Jessie and they didn't even realize album is out. What a pity cause it is a great piece of work and I think many songs would do very well with GP

First thoughts:

Superbloom is a very strong title track and kinda usurps ICGUTT as the track setting the tone even though it's already track #3. It also massively elevates Automatic in my opinion.

Absolutely love the Chariots of Love interlude and Sauna. That's the next single surely.

These opening 6 tracks really form a strong, cohesive body of work already.

But then, Mr Valentine unfortunately does nothing for me. It offers nothing musically and broke my immersion almost instantly, should've been left off the album.

Love You For is very strong melodically. Great song.

Ride also breaks my immersion, but it's good.

Don't You Know Who I Am? definitely deserves a spot in the classic diva pantheon.

16 Summers lovely little ballad, it somehow makes the album more dynamic for me.

No Consequences should replace Mr Valentine in the tracklist, it would keep the album going so much better.

Mon Amour slightly leaning into camp here, but very strong melodically and love the production on this one (especially the little piano keys). Very strong bridge.

Actually all the bridges are VERY strong on this album which should be commended in this dag and age
