I always laugh when I see people saying she's been releasing the same songs over and over and complaining about that, when their starting point is WYP? which is a masterpiece.

So what do you mean? The problem is releasing good music over and over again?

Absolutely nothing wrong with this, but everything she's released in the last 6 years has sounded the same and I'd love for her to try something new. This sonic landscape obviously works for her, but I can't get excited about any of her music when there are no risks being taken. No shade - I think she's super talented and a total hoot to watch in interviews / on Table Manners, it's just so monotonous at this point.

Some unfortunate facts happened lol

The week TFG was released, she made a joke about wanting to be #1 and some people thought she was rude for the way she said it, so a lot of people "cancelled" her on twitter and bought the album of a random ass annoying band and she didn't make the #1 spot and this band did.

And then there was the RM thing around a week after the release of the FMN music video.

And then when she promoted Hello Love and posted a pic with Diddy, the lawsuit Cassie filed against him was released, literally, on the following day of the performance of Hello Love.

why don't you tell carly rae to release one good albüm that's not just a few great songs and a bunch of filler? she hasn't done that since emoshion days. jessie is fine!

I have to disagree, there is distinctive difference between musical approach in last 3 albums, yes it dip into similar styles (not style, but styles!) ut the approach is always different. Any of the songs from TFG! would not fit stylistically onto WYP?

What's Your Pleasure?: dark, melancholic, mysterious, intimate, soft vocals, electronic sound, synths, 80's, 90's, sensual and not in your face

vs.

That! Feels Good!: bright, louder, cheeky, more organic instrumentation, happy lyrics, has its camp moments, more explicit, her voice showcases more, uplifting.

If you think they're sound the same, it's not on her

Now one thing she DOES sound on her 3 last albums, this things is: sophisticated

WYP > SB > TFG

This is very good, the production is immense, it's very sharp and focused, but not as immediate as WYP

I dont think its fair to expect another Spotlight though, that's a SONG

She went Fiona Apple and deleted and unfollowed them as fast as she could.

But these espisodes were too sad for me, cause it felt like the era didn't have its chance to fully shine.

And coming from an era who had another little moment after she performed RWYA on TV, was frustrating at least.

That's fair! Taste is subjective, and there are definitely songs I enjoy on all of her projects. So far this era just isn't grabbing my attention, but I'm glad others are enjoying it.
