  1. Thank you so much for some of the tea. I'm actually relieved to hear Pretty Ugly isn't happening anymore (allegedly), she's put music on the back burner for long enough. I'll take Music Hilary over Acting Hilary any day.
  2. Great interview. Whilst Chess didn't work out, at least it gave her motivation to finally start crafting JL7. I wasn't obsessed with NGL as I was across her previous projects but us Jo fans are thirsty for new material!!
  3. Aubrey is always a kii, she's always exposing her love for pre-recorded vocals. Least she could do is get an auto tuned mic
  4. Spicy_TyTy replied to naval23's topic in Base
This album is very underrated, she had the funds to pull off a high tier pop record with the biggest producers at the time. Feels like the album that Jessica Simpson should've made at the time (I like A Public Affair but this is better). A lot of it still holds up today and her sophomore album doesn't even hold a candle to it.
  5. Tokyo Toni Enterprises digging this up and sabotaging Act III as part of their one sided feud
  6. We were robbed of her and Brittany Murphy's debut albums - RIP sweet angels.
  7. She should definitely look into a second leg of this tour, explore bigger venues across the cities that had huge demand. Everyone and their dog were looking for last-minute tickets when she was in Sydney and I had friends who weren't even that into her, leave the concerts and become obsessed. I wish I could replay the Sydney show, Crank It live was a blip but also insane. I was at the show she reposted on her socials and it was euphoric.
  8. Watched my pirated Bali DVD of Bring It On: All or Nothing relentlessly when I was living out on a farm in rural Western Australia. Played her droplets Wake Up Call and Your New Girlfriend relentlessly to this year on YouTube premium and it's a shame we never got at least one Hollywood Records album era as so many of her counterparts did. Had the DVD of I Love You Beth Cooper, binge watched Nashville because of her (the Juliette Barnes discography playlist on Spotify still goes off and is part of my small but niche country pop girl rotations), went to the opening night of Scream 6 and screamed out loud seeing Kirby back on our screens, bought her memoir the first day it was out and the list goes on. Absolutely heartbroken by this, thinking of her family regardless of how messy their relationships and how they treated Hayden might've been. We lost a good one.
  9. The chokehold Oh Well has had on me since release day
  10. Any tea on what this album is going to sound like. With these visuals, it could be anything sonically. Can't wait for his next tour, his Sydney Opera House performance was epic and he really stepped it up last era performance wise. And he's from Perth also so I'm here for his new era.
  11. The chokehold this woman had on me in the late 2010s. Always excited for a new Dawn album, criminally underrated and I've always respected her hustle / performance style in which she could perform like she's in an arena to smaller crowds.
  12. Dinah Jane securing her next cheque as the Rock's backup singer for his headlining tour at a Comic Con near you.
  13. I love Simply Deep, Talk A Good Game and her Dance era. In my eyes she can do both but Kelly had a career resurgence in the 2010s, focusing on the UK/European market with X Factor and exploring dance music. America paid her dust for the most part besides a few hits, she could've been the 2010s Bebe Rexha and devoured the Euro/UK market and get coin headlining every pride under the sun but that's a conversation she didn't want to have. Still here for her next album though. Her last dance efforts Crazy and Finally felt a bit generic considering she is the Forever and A Day, Commander and When Love Takes Over chanteuse.
  14. I feel like for their UK dates, they'll snag more last-minute ticket sales. I still think they should extend their tour a little bit longer and tour ANZ (selfishly) at smaller arena venues (aka Hordern Pavilion in Sydney). The Ashanti Sydney date at TikTok Centre isn't selling terribly and surprisingly moderately despite the crazy prices. The R&B and pop girls are always charting in NZ and flopping everywhere else also, so they could definitely get some interest that way also. But probably won't happen.
